Hey Folks! Welcome back to a new video. The Android 13 One UI 5 has started rolling out officially for Samsung galaxy smartphones starting with the Galaxy S22 lineup first of all. In this video, I have explained how you can install this update manually without waiting for the OTA update. This method is a bit tricky so you have to pay full attention to the video without any distractions. I have demonstrated the method on my Galaxy S22 Ultra, but this will work for any Samsung phone given that the firmware update is available for your model number. I honestly think us people with the unlocked version are specifically being pushed to the back of the line. Why? because the big carriers get first dibs due to contract sales with Samsung. This is more incentive to buy the phone directly from a carrier.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was able to finally get my Unlocked US Note 20 Ultra 5g (T-mobile) updated to ONE UI 5.!! I should've gotten the update back in November but T-mobile to this day has yet to release the update. My phone so far is working perfectly with the new update!

I think yes it will wipe data, if you have an SD card i recommend to back up it first with smart switch app

Hey man, idk if u check the comments anymore but im having a massive pain troubleshooting my update problem. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20+. My carrier is Straight Talk but my CSC is ATT. My phone has been stuck on Android 11, OneUI 3.0 for nearly 3 years. When I try to update, it says "Update interrupted" and doesnt find an update. Ive tried everything. I wanted to try this as a last resort, but apparently the ATT csc code isnt supported by Frija. Idk what to do and its rly irritating me as I need OneUI 5 for something i am trying to get working on my phone. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Frija wasn't able to download the firmware for me, so i downloaded it manually from samfw. Then i flashed with odin.

@Mara Sov is poggers It didn't. Use the home version of the CSC file if you don't want it to factory reset. Use the regular CSC file if you want it to reset. He said it in the vid 👍

Just one thing i want to know that the rom i have download is i think is bugged as it is not showing mobile data toggle in notification panel and in settings also.. so my question is how do we get to know that the rom frija is getting is bug free..?

No. Like any other locked phone with a service provider it will still be locked to them, when buying a carrier locked phone the person selling has to know someone to carrier unlock it, or pay the phone in full and have their service provider unlock it. If not you'll be stuck with a carrier locked phone.

Hi Usama, thanks for releasing this instruction. I too have the US-based and unlocked version of the S22 ULTRA (SM-S908U1). I just read Verizon has an automated update out in the US (my carrier is ATT, though my phone is unlocked). Unless you recommend I should wait until Samsung or ATT release the A13 upgrade in the US, can you please recommend which download I should use from FRIJA, on the currently available worldwide updates? If it is ok to use a currently available update, which code is the best code that is compatible with snapdragon and my country's CSC. It would take away the guesswork. Regards, G.

@@TheMrreese24 hi mate, ATT csc says it's not supported by Frija,but on the website ATT already released one ui 5.0 android 13 on note 20 ultra 5G. I have a AT&T unlocked unit which after 8days using started saying no sim and I'm trying to fix it by updating the OS to 13. But this is what I get. Can I download the csc for t-mobile instead or how does it work? I badly need help , I feel so bad. My phone says no sim for some reason did everything , reset factory reset. Only last resort is hoping to fix it by doing manual flash but I can't use frija, csc not supported ATT
