Little tip for anyone struggling to get this to work . Here's what to do if you cant find the iso file OR if the virtual machine wont open and work at all . Step 1 : you dont need to create a virtual machine , you can simply drag the ISO file into the first option and it will run way faster and easier than to create one and you still assign the settings you want later as well . Step 2 : if you cant find the iso file , its usually in your downloads file , if its under a .pvm file , it wont work and you need to either download the iso again from parallel or you can simply download the file from insider program from windows official website !!

@@alemusicgirl If you can't find the iso file in your downloads folder then follow these steps: 1. Click on apple logo (Top right corner) 2. Click on About this Mac 3. Click More Info 4. Go to bottom of this About section and click Storage Settings 5. Click on i button of Documents Folder 6. Go to File Browser 7. Click Command+Shift+. at the same time. (This will open up hidden folders) 8 Now select Library>Parallels>Downloads. 9. Here you go, this folder contains the iso file of windows11.

Thanks so much. I followed your video and execute Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned and try to run setup file with powershell but I couldn't find the menu on right click. Graphic setting is done but couldn't get the driver for BaseSystem Device and USB Controllder. In addition, I changed virtual drive size to 256gb but syill they are using 64g only. I don't know if I missed something.. but buying windows is a similar price to buying the full version of parallel desktops.. so if windows only will last a few weeks on VMfusion until I have to enter the key, isn't it price wise the same to just buying parallel desktop?

For sometime try VMWARE Fusion, you can use windows 11 for some time until it expires. When the stable version of Windows 11 comes out for Apple silicon Macs down the future then buying windows license key is a great idea.

The method that I shown download windows 11 ARM64 ISO. M1 Mac uses ARM architecture so better use AMR64 ISO. No need to pay for that. You can activate it use the existing windows 11 licence key.

Try to create a new VM again. This time when you click on the RUN. Immediately click inside the VM and press enter key on your keyboard couple of times to boot into Windows 11 installer

YEs, Parallels, uses their own set of drivers for better experience , so VMWare too. The only differnece is that parallels is paid, VMWare is free.

Yes you can.. Shutdown the VM. From the Menu Bar choose Windows - Virtual Machine library. Select windows 11 VM, right click on it & choose settings. Then select NVME Disk and increase the disk space.. Then run the virtual machine, inside windows 11 open command prompt and type "diskmgmt.msc" it will open disk manager, there you will see an unallocated free space. Then right click on the C Drive and choose to extend volume. Voila, you have extended the more space to VM.

What about the Parallel Tools in the windows ISO ?? When you 👇 download the windows on parallel during validation it injects the parallel tools in the ISO & sometimes other parallel stuff as well. So in that ISO parallel tools already injected which is good if you use parallel desktop but for UTM or VMWare fusion its not useful its like bloats - its better to remove the parallel tools before installation on VMWare fusion or UTM

Quite Similar. Parallels has some specific drivers that takes an advantage of apple silicon to be more efficient. VMWARE Fusion TECH preview 2023 is almost close to Parallels now. its supports 3D acceleration and more.

This is not currently possible with Stable VMWare Fusion and you need to wait for some time.. If you cannot wait install VMWare tech preview 2023, using it install windows 11 the same way that I shown, that supports 3D acceleration,, better resolution and more features.
