This lesson is special as it is only 5 notes but sounds so cool. Welcome to 3rd Position (minor) playing. All this means is on your Key C harmonica your root note is -4 which is a D note. We are playing in D minor.

I’m sure all of this scale talk can seem confusing. All you need to know is what harmonica works and will have the right notes for particular songs. Minor chords sound more moody/sad and major chords are more happy. I love minor chords as they give a moody feeling to a song.
