Awesome man! I just made this project for a physics expo at my school. the angles in the code didn't work for me at first but just after tinkering with the code a little bit it finally worked correctly. Overall this was an awesome and unique project and I hope I win the expo.

well done but my little contribution is i don't think this should be called RADAR since the word RADAR is an English acronym which stands for Radio Detection And Ranging while here the detection is not accomplished using radio waves but ultrasound, maybe we should call this SONAR "Sound Navigation And Ranging".

Awesome stuff. Thank you for sharing. Was wondering how one would do this, and seems you took all the hard work out of it. Have a couple questions for anyone who knows this stuff. If I wanted to calculate far distances, is there a better unit I could find out there for the radar output? I was hoping for longer distances like even 1km for instance, is there any units out there that would cover such distances? Also, given the new improvements in Arduino and possible software, would you use anything differently if you were looking to do something more on the size of like a regular boat radar. I am actually only doing this for vfx stuff, so different use case then probably you intended for this setup, but gets me started already since I am pretty new to arduino, and I didn't even realize they had such software already to process the data, which is very cool. In my case I was thinking closer to lidar for instance. Just curious if there are actually anything like that for the arduino?
