This is an incredibly simple and intuitive design. Saves heaps on finding an expensive router table when you don’t have the space. That Makita router (DRT50z in Australia) is also my go to for most routing projects and my big 12mm/ ½ inch router stays in the bag. I am saving this and going to cobble on of these together. WELL DONE!

Great, video, absolutely genius !👍 The simplest design I've ever seen but everything needed except a vacuum cleaner interface is there and it works like a charm. Love the box joint use case on the sliding table. Keep your simple, clean and thorough style of making videos, it is very clear, simple to follow even without subtitles!

When the technique is mastered, the strudences, the fuss and the over acting are of more. That is what happens on this channel. It captivates you from the first video because what unfolds before you is the eloquence of knowledge and the mastery of technical mastery. Each video is a surprise that never disappoints. Since I saw the first one, I am hooked on this channel. Those who really know are instantly captivating. Thanks Jisaku.

Still a little anal on the constant vacuuming up of the sawdust. Reminiscent of the "anal retentive chef" parody.

It’s captivating. I’m sick of the over caffeinated “Xtreem” douchebros yammering on, while doing undisclosed promotions for tool manufacturers. I’ve been thinking about doing a parody, “The Adderall Wood Bro”, but I don’t think I can maintain the shtick for long enough.

I use old bicycle innertubes. Cut them into half inch strips and close the ends with rubber cement (super glue works too). They'll last forever. Long after regular rubber bands deteriorate.

I love how simple his ideas are yet they work perfectly. Simple in a sense that he only uses 1 pivot point to get an adjustable range of straigt lines, but I can only think about way more complicated solutions that would probably not even work so well. I would never be able to think of something like this, it requires you to be very familiar with geometry to create something simple and perfectly effective.

I definitely want to make this as I don't care for the router table I bought years ago. I still use it, but don't really like it. If I can put together the two pieces of wood using the 90 degree angles that he did, then I'll have to go for doing dovetails next.

Ah yes, I've used these a ton in my guitar shop.Sometimes I'll have my other two big router tables occupied with other projects so it's easier to just put one of these together, you can really do a lot with them, I use them primarily for cutting wood binding and routing all of the access cavity covers and pic guards for electric guitars.

this channel is rich with ideas, thoughtfully and artfully executed. the ideas are portable to many set-ups, even if you dont make the exact same jigs. the hold-down jig used here, but elaborated in another video, is especially brilliant, as is a pivoting fence, and other ideas suggestion for hole-sawing in wood or mdf: silicone lube is a superb 'cutting oil' that dramatically reduces friction, eliminates burning and extends blade life-- blade is only warm to touch immediately after use
