I don't understand why we need to use 5V-2A power adapter can the project even work without using it as connection to ground and 5v already provided by aurdino to breadboard.

ultra_time = time / 29 / 2; why have you converted time like this using this formulae, ? the duration which pulseIn returns(in microseconds) should be the actual duration right? please tell me i am confused

you can use I2c module which can make it more simple because you have a4 and a5 pin through which you can make spi communication although the project it self is great
