I love how he instinctively braces his whole body through corners and braking because he knows what it actually feels like to drive on these tracks.
@FXcheerios69
@FXcheerios69 3 роки тому
@Armando Sturzenegger The definition of instinct is "an innate, typically fixed pattern of behavior in response to certain stimuli." In this case, the stimulus is braking in an F1 car, albeit in a sim racing game. But he has done it so many times in a a real life F1 car that he has a fixed pattern of behavior where he braces his entire body in response to the massive Gs his brain is expecting.

So lucky to have Nico around. I watched F1 in TV and they hosted former pro driver who was not able to answer question "What is difference between blistering and graining of tyres?" I was so ashamed. I wish there are more Q and A about technical aspect of car, setting up/adjusting the car during the race, like Nico answered about diff setting in curves. So Great, I would love to see you back in the F1 hot seat!!!

If I were an F1 driver I would’ve like to drive in the 2004-2014 era with the V6 engines and with 22 or 23 competitors. Also because you could add some fuel in the pit stops, and that was so exciting. But I would love to drive in the 2013 Red Bull, it was so dominant and always perfomed well.

best description of how the open and locked diff worked, i finally understand lol. would be great to see a video explaining the other options such as brake bias and when to change, suspension, anti roll especially i dont know when and how much i need. been playing f1 for years you would think i would have a handle on all this stuff by now but nope! :) never been able to setup a car from scratch i just dont know how some of these changes translate to handling/performance. that would be another great video,, setting a car up from scratch going through all the options with us. im sure whatever you put out will be awesome keep it up and thanks for the great content.

If I was an f1 driver I would choose the 80s, 'cause I would love to see and even being lapped by such legendary drivers like prost, senna, mansell, piquet amd lauda, as well as meeting enzo ferrari one time, just to talk to him, therefore I would choose the 1986 championship to drive in, maybe with estoril being my first race, just to be able to see the 4 champions pose for that picture!

I would have liked to be Charles Leclerc 2019 Ferrari winning at Monza. That race was absolutely one the greatest and will remain one of the greatest in F1 history. It is Charles second season in F1 and has had a very good start but also some tough moments. Earlier in his career, he has had tough moments losing his Godfather and his father. The same day he loses his father he goes out winning the race. The year before he was driving for Sauber/ Alfa Romeo and was proving he was strong compare to Eriksson but also some tough moments like the DNF at his home Grand Prix in Monaco. Being promoted from Alfa Romeo to Ferrari after his first season in F1 as one of Ferraris youngest ever drivers ever and becoming teammate with one of the greatest Sebastian Vettel. At Spa the race before Monza one of his best friends Anthoine Hubert dies in F2 and Charles wins the race at Spa. The next weekend at Monza he pretty much does perfectly from Saturday to Sunday. Having Bottas, and Lewis Hamiton the decades best driver pushing Charles from the beginning of the start all the way to the end. Charles is 21 years old winning that race walking out on that podium and the first win for Ferrari at Monza for 7 years if I'm not wrong, aah that moment was like a movie. In the 2019 season, he had the most pole positions and has proven many times in his career that he is mentally strong. I think Charles can become one of the greatest if not the greatest in F1 history in a couple of years. I really hope Ferrari sorts out their problems and that the choice of Ferrari signing a couple of years isn't his career killer. :)
