Basically make a to do list of projects or things to do in a book and quill, never let a single idea escape, you can always have things to do, the game truly starts when you have things like op armor, totems and shulkers, basically endgame items, try to do anything you can to get them (thats what i do)

whenever i'm on a server with my friends, i do exactly the op armour/tools thing since i love building and i want to get everything quicker. But as soon as i do it my friends start a new server "season" because they got "bored".

I made a netherite beacon on this one mc server, it took me three months and I had to buy 10% of the netherite from some people on the server. 2/10 wouldn't recommend

*0:31* Friendly Pillager is not only a good friend, he can be very helpful too! He is after all the only mob that works in iron farms but doesn't try to kill you.

here's how I don't get bored digging out a chunk: I also dig out the andesite, granite, diorite, dirt, gravel and ores from the sides of that chunk hole. than fill it up with stone and if I find water or lava just the same. also if I find a cave connect to the sides of the hole. I try to find another entrance or I try to make a new cave entrance and then fill the side up. or I fill up the cave completely. and all the diorite, granite and andesite found becomes moss food aka turned into moss.
