AMZN: abrasive stones: goo.gl/aq2xmf
hi in thsi video i am going to show you how i solve the problem of the rust that is covering 2000 screws.
i took a kitchen pot very heavy drilled 3 holes, mount 3 springs that act as a soft base for a donut shape cake container,
i qill fill this container uscing abrasive quarz stones.
you can also use other materials.. like sand.. or other metal parts.
this manchine can be used not only for rust removal but also to finish polish 3d printed parts such as Wood PLA, CarbonFiber PLA. TPU, PETG, or PLA, ABS. or other Types: like PLA Filament,or Silky PLA Filament, Wood PLA Filament, or Carbon Fiber PLA Filament, or Flexible TPU Filament, or PETG Filament
just trow them in the machine e let them sit for 45 minutes..

The aluminum bowl will wear though quickly. A thick nylon Bowl is quieter and last longer.

But he didn't show how to attach the lead weight onto the motor shaft, and he didn't tell us that he needed to make the lead weight on the motor smaller because the motor was about to burn out.

You need to put an amp probe on the common wire of the motor and keep drilling the weight until the amps are under the rated amps for the motor or remove some of the stone until under rated amps or both.

You might be able to get more views by putting "DIY vibrating polisher" somewhere, either in the title or in the description. And I'm kicking myself for never having looked at bundt pan and thought "that looks a lot like the bowl on a vibrating polisher" haha. I'm absolutely loving your videos! may your subscriber and view count continue growing!

A great video. I cannot believe years ago somebody gave me one of these and I really had no need for one. At that time until just now I believe the only purpose was for what my friend bought it for was to clean bullet cases to reload. He knows that my wife and myself are into firearms and thought we would get used out of it since he never did. All I did was re-gift it to someone else. If I knew that I could throw rusty bolts into it I definitely would have kept it. Thank you so much for sharing your video.

👍 suggestions= modern brushless motors from automotive cooling fans/ computers etc = quieter & more energy efficient, mounted below vs above( for safety), also for safety, use rubber grommets in holes drilled for wire routing. 👌 keep up good work.

You would have better results using a motor designed for unbalanced weights. As a lot of commentators have said, you'll kill that motor fast and it will need to be replaced. Replacing it will add to the budget of the machine so in the long term it'd be cheaper to spend a little money getting a motor designed for handling a heavy/unbalanced weight. it might also be beneficial to mount the motor differently so that the rotor is facing down instead of up.
@Nevir202

Glenn Griffon what “budget?” It was built using a junk blender. If it’s ruined, he just needs another junk motor.

handtool rescue uses baking powder, water and DC charger. That one i feel much more simple to build. I mean you don't have to build anything and not noisy. However the surface won't be smooth. Rust is not an even cover on the metal and if you remove it the surface remains bumpy.
