Guys it’s 1 million times harder than it looks. I spent all day doing this and there was glass all over my room and the metal that the glass rests on was bent after all that pressure 😭 glad it’s finally done and taking it to a repair shop was not an option. Do this at your own risk 😂

If this is a reparied screen you probably just need to replace it or copy the touch information from another original screen over to yours. The device is called Qianli iCopy, most repairs shops should have one.

if only need to replace cracked glass in the back, is it necessary or better to remove the battery and some components so the heat gun won't deteriorate them? I guess mostly the battery. thanks

You should only be using the heat gun to get everything to around 90° just enough to soften the glue which won’t be much warmer than the phone staying in your pocket or gaming for a long time on the phone. Removing the battery shouldn’t be necessary just make sure to not have the heat gun too close or in one spot for too long. I’ve been doing repairs on these phones for years and never removed the battery for this.

I noticed doing this method of removal there is no glue lines anywhere! Compared to the laser method i am seeing glue lines after the process completes.

Подскажите пожалуйста, решил сам поменять батарею iphone 11pro max, при вскрытии отделил случайно рамку от дисплея, поменял батарею, рамку дисплея назад прижал, но телефон теперь не включается, как в домашних условия продиагностировать не включается просто экран, или проблемы с замыканием? На телефон все равно, нужна просто информация с него, можно как то определить это хана экрану или в другом проблема? и есть способ подключить айфон к айтюнс на компе если не работает экран? Just don't do anything with the lenses if not broken, you just leave them on. You still have to remove the lense "housing" around the actual lenses for the new glass to be able to fit.

Stop using metal to unclip connectors in the beginning when disconnecting the screen, you can short someting, better use a plastic spudger, it's much safer. Good video bro!
