How To Safely Connect a Breadboard to Raspberry Pi

День томуThis video shows how to use a T-Cobbler to connect a breadboard to a Raspberry Pi (any generation with a 40-pin GPIO). Working with GPIO headers requires care and using the T-Cobbler with a ribbon cable instead of individual wires lowers the risk of damaging the Pi through wiring or coding mistakes.
This video shows what works for me. I do not power down the Pi when I connect or disconnect the breadboard as I know what I am doing and I am willing to accept the risk. My recommendation to you is to always safely power off the Pi before connecting or disconnecting circuits to the Pi GPIO which presents the lowest risk of damage to the Pi if you make a mistake.

What if i connected the wrong way into my rasbarry pi by mistake, is it over for me? Is my rasbarry pi dameged or it’s less likely ?

I assume that you are referring to reversing the ribbon on one side. This by itself will not damage the Pi until you build your circuit. Generally, damage occurs when 3.3V (or a GPIO port set to OUT mode) is shorted to GND, or if you short GND with 3.3V straight up. Also, you can cause damage by connecting 5V to any other pins.
