Hi , thank you for your comment , much appreciated. To apply the flux I was using the end of a plastic cable tie. I've done a complete video on UKposts showing the flux I use and how I use it . Also I've done a complete posting on how I clean my boards and what fluids I use etc. These may be useful for you as all the information is within these 2 videos. Thanks again 👍

It's exactly the same with temperatures of my iron and hot air gun when I solder , again I have mentioned bits and pieces about this in some of my other videos . The solders I tend to use are , ( lead free 0.25mm , alloy Sn100SB , flux 2.2% , Nitrosol solder wire ) and ( leaded 60/40 tin lead , 0.25mm + 0.56mm ) , I use a company in the UK called BLT Circuits for these . Also Farnell , RS Components and other electrical stockists will probably stock these . 0.25mm is essential for fine pitch soldering , also a fine conical soldering iron tip is a must have . They also do other thicknesses of solders if required . Very good , reliable products. The flux I use is called SMFL200D . I have done a complete video on UKposts showing the benefits of using this flux . It's the best flux I've ever used , very much recommend it. Available from places like Farnell , RS Components , Rapid Online + if in USA , Mouser or Digikey. It's about £15 for a 200ml can . My UKposts video shows the way it can be used easily . Hi , thank you for watching the video. The cloths I use are called Gtek Dry Wipes , supplied by a company in England called Grove sales . They are an amazing wipe , leaving minimal , if any fibres and are lovely and soft + flexible . I've tried many types of wipes over the years and these are by far the best I've ever used . About £5 for a pack of 100 cloths. I've made a complete UKposts video showing how I clean my PCB's , all the information about the cloths and the cleaning fluid I use is in this video . Hi . Capacitors can be polarized. For example Tantalum capacitors have a band marked on the body which is the positive ( Anode ) . Lots of capacitors do not have any polarity , so can go either way. Through hole capacitors will generally have a polarity marking on them . If in doubt you can search Google for the datasheet ( just type in the exact part you have and you will find this info pretty easy. Resistors don't have a polarity , well if they do I haven't seen these ones. Good luck 👍

Hi , thank you. The lead free solders I generally use are Nitrosol Solder wire , Sn100SB , flux 2.2% SD-82 , 0.25mm + Fluitin 1532 , 0.4mm , SAC305 . I generally get all my solders from a company in England called BLT Circuits. Hope that helps , thanks again 👍
