Following this, it is our duty to educate ourselves on the harmful effects of cultural appropriation, especially when we are part of the modern Western spiritual community! (In fact, the Western spiritual community, otherwise known as 'New Agers,' might be the biggest cultural appropriation offender in our modern world!) It is also our responsibility to decolonise our beliefs and practices, so that we will not continue to diminish, disempower or otherwise harm other cultures. I have committed myself to this process of learning/unlearning/decolonising, and I will remain committed because this is a lifelong lesson, and an ongoing process of reflection and action. Please be mindful in your practices! Please consider your use of other culture's knowledge. Modern spirituality professes to be primarily focused on love and compassion, and it is the compassionate action to begin to think about others around us, and how we might be unknowingly harming them. When I was a kid I would catch butterflies, and I'll never forget this one particular butterfly, it had blue eyes and I wanted to keep it. It was just crazy to me that a bug could have eyes like that. I also used to tell my aunt that sparkles were angels cause I saw(and still see) little Sparks of light randomly. It used to be more frequent for sure, but now I also see little Sparks of black. I used to squint my eyes when taking multiple choice tests cause I swore the sparkles would only appear next to right answers.

I don't know if you'll get a chance to read this but if you do, I just need to say thank you for everything you've done in this video and you've definitely restored my faith in fairies. I remember when one time when I was little I was near a river up in the mountains I saw something in the water. It looked like the current was taking it away, it looked like it couldn't swim, so I jumped in the water. My grandfather was yelling at me to get out of the water but I didn't listen. I just had to get whatever it as in the water. Then I retrieved it. It was a fairy. I tried to show my grandfather what was in my hands but he said he didn't see anything. So I walked away to go to a large tree that I have found, fairy still in my hand, and I put it in the tree. She was very beautiful. She got up as soon as I put her on the tree . Her wings were wet. I felt terrible. I said sorry so many times.. But she told me there was nothing to be sorry for. She started to sort of "flap" her wings I think it's called then kissed me on the cheek and said " Thank you for everything, I'm glad there are still humans like you in the world." Then she flew off. I tried to tell my mom and dad about my experience with her but they didn't believe me. They said it was all a dream and I believed that for a while, but now I realized it was a fairy. I was meditating in my garden last sommer trying to silence my heart and a dragon fly flew close to my eye and we had straight eye contact for a while and at that moment I saw that in essence we where the same - after that it flew on and got its friend and they gave me 15 minutes fantastic airshow one of them killed a wasp in the air and dropped it in my lab as it was trying to feed me - i dont believe that I have ever seen fairies.. But what i do know is that if one can change ones perception .. the world becomes magical within it self .. Have a Beautiful day.

My wife & I swear that one early evening in 2016 there was a small white glowing fairy that flew out of the bush ahead of us & it flew right between us.. we both stopped & looked at each other & said "Did you just see that???" It literally was giving off it's own white glow! It was NO firefly! I will never forget that night!

Faeries are rare. Most of them left this world at the end of an age and at the beginning of the Kali-Yuga, as depicted by the elves who left Middle Earth in the Lord of the Rings at the end of an age. Faeries are Nature Spirits who personify the trees, the rivers, the lakes, the flowers and the plants and more. Herbs were also more effective in those times. Now we see why the shamans say, "The plants told us.", when they're asked how they learned how to make Ayahuasca.

"Tir na nÓg" - thats the name of the otherworld in Ireland.. It means "Land of Eternal Youth". And its very real ;) also important to say that The Sidhe (People of the mounds) are very human, just like us in height and appearance. And they love to have what we call here "the craic".. which literally means "fun" in all its varieties... Well done to you for this video... its important humanity wakes up to the truth.. cant stress how important it is to quit the city and move to the country if possible but definitely to spend as much time as possible in nature.

I laid down in meditation and envisioned myself in a void of darkness and with a white circle around me, as always. I started to ask the God and Goddess about my path, my future, and what is best for me. The circle started glowing bright and all I saw was white light enveloping me. I felt like I was falling _through_ the circle. The light cleared and I felt soft grass, moss, and a stone underneath my hand. For some reason, I somehow knew it was the Fae's world. The realm was covered in trees, forests, what I assume were fireflies (or wisps), moss, little rivers and ponds. Raising up, I saw what I, again, somehow knew it was one of the Fae. Either I was tiny, or they were human sized. The Fae looked like humanoid, with small pointed ears, tribal markings, wearing a grass-covered outfit. It had a feminine face, yet a male body, with a slight indication of breasts. The Fae had a long tail feather with a reddish tip and crystalline wings. I can't remember what it told me, but I can remember what it felt like it was saying. It was instructions to put my hands in a nearby pool of water and pray. And as it led me on a walkway made of stones, I remember seeing the tail feather wave in the air like a flag, even if there was no breeze or wind. The Fae instructed me to do as what it wanted, and as I prayed for the God and Goddess, the water turned strangely purple. I looked up from the water and saw other Fae. Some had children, others had spears. I was unfortunately awoken from the sequence, as I had apparently fallen asleep.

I live in Jamaica and today I was meditating and saying"i believe in fairies" all of a sudden the plants started to wave.So i was wondering if that was a sign that if the fairies If they were listening to me.l dont know if am making sense,please do reply to this message

I think I saw a fae once, Iam quit new to wicca and just finished with a protection spell. The spell required a bowl of water which I then kept on my altar after I finished. My altar is in my room so like 10 mins after I finished I noticed this tiny huminoid silluwhet that looked that white glowing ligth standing above my bowl of water on my altar. When it noticed me, it ran and dissapeared. Just something I felt like sharing!

When I was younger there was this blue Jay that always sat at my window and it let me pet it and it was awesome and whenever I went to show anyone it flew away like it was scared of other people

The "fairy mounds" in the British Isles are actually Bronze and Iron Age burial sites, so you may encounter the ghost of Celtic or Pictish warriors rather than the Tinkerbell variety of fairy! Also, it helps if you have a hereditary predisposition towards Second Sight, as my children do....in my husband's family, it's supposed to be linked to a birthmark on the back of the neck called the "strawberry", and in my family it's linked to red hair. My daughter has both, and she not only claims to see fairies, she looks a bit like one because she's got a cute little freckled face and delicately pointed ears (another family trait of her father's that was never really explained to me) and people keep buying wispy floral-print dresses for her.

I paused this vid to go get some blueberry's, to see that most of the blueberry's had little bite marks in them! after I finest the vid I think I saw a little girl with brown hair in a braid hiding behind a plate. so i left out some bread with jam and some old jewelry as a gift for her, I hope she likes it and we can be friends!

I was inside looking out through a waterfall. Fairies love waterfalls! And I have heard them numerous times near the creek - little voices talking when no one seemed to be there. Fun! i thought i saw a hummingbird smile at me when i was young. could this have been the Fae?

Last summer I took my daughters into the forest to build fairy homes out of coloured lollipop sticks and coloured feathers. As we headed home we saw lots of white feathers on the ground. In the distant dusk light we could see what my rational mind would say was flying insects as small as nats. There was circles of star shaped acorns periodically on the path we walked. I asked them to leave three feathers as a sign at my car. When we arrived at the car we found three white feathers. When we returned home, we found our front garden was covered in white feathers. Was this the Fae? Or just coincidence? All my children witnessed this so I know I'm not going crazy. Our forest happens to be Sherwood forest.

And the way you treat this plant beside you encouraged me to give more attention to my big almost forgotten plant i have in the room. Thats so amazing i kinda thought I was a weird person for thinking of some bugs as faeries. I sense it more with certain insects like especially small moths and mayflies. I am not a bug Buddhist by any means sadly I am terrified of spiders and things and may still squish a very scary one from time to time, BUT as far back as I remember I called certain insects "faeries" and I would be super awed and protective of them. I would yell "No! Don't squish it or hurt it that's a faerie!" Great video you really hit all the best points.

I believe in Fae Folk 😊 I've found their wings lying on the ground, and they leave little gifts for me under my windowsill. Old coins, little sparkly rocks, pieces of coloured glass, marbles; so many!!

Thank you so much, I cried (softly, with tears), when you talked about them, wich I have not been able to do in a very long time (cry at all).. I cannot thank you enough, because it occured to me that it might be because I am missing nature and all elementals, that I (probably) was very much in touch with as a child. I have to say, living in Holland, it is very difficult to stay in touch with nature, since we do not actually have forests here. We do have places here where a lot of trees are, but they are not forests, and not beautiful like the ones in lot of other countries. This is partly why I want to travel so bad, but money is a big issue.. But, I'm trying to stay positive and save up! Lastly, I will definitely keep watching your videos, thank you so much again!

No mention of the fairy tree... very widespread belief in Ireland especially in the west; an isolated tree or bush on its own in a field was always a place for fairies, and woe befell anyone who disturbed it. My gran still talks of a local man whose hair turned white over night when he cut one down. Also there was a fairy mound behind my great grandmother’s house. Which we were never to go near but was overgrown with daffodils every spring. I’ve never seen fairies but I certainly felt their presence as a child. I’m going to start looking again... thanks for such a sweet, happy video. It’s nice to see some joy and innocence on this website.

I know I'm really late but one time I was sitting in a tree and I heard this beautiful music deep within the woods. It was amazing. I believe in was Aubrey the Elf king because I've read he will often play his crystal drums for people.

when i was younger, every morning i would look out my window and there would always be this bumblebee. i named him bob the bumblebee. when i would go outside, he would lead me to these pink flowers in our yard. and i think that he was a fairy!

Last summer I saved a grasshopper in the park from my 5 year old who has a habit of being overly rough with animals. She likes them too much and that causes her to be to "playful"' anyways she had caught the grasshopper and she was too rough causing her to hurt it. I am able to do healing energy transfers and I healed the grasshopper using this technique. A couple days later I am in my yard about 5 miles away from the park. I see a grasshopper and it sees me and where a grasshopper would normally get scared and jump away this little grasshopper looks right at me and i get the feeling like it's saying thank you. Now I know 5 miles is a long ways for a grasshopper to travel but it really did feel like it was the same grasshopper or that maybe one told another to tell me and passed the message on or I don't know maybe based on your Dragonfly maybe it was a fairy but whatever it was it felt like it was saying thank you

When I was little my grandmother always spoke about having fairies in her garden. Me and my sister would always look for them until one day I saw this tiny figure dash across the pathway to the front door. I was so happy and I knew it wasn’t a chipmunk or any animal. I saw it’s little legs and arms running and wings :)

From what I've heard about Brownies, they're pretty similar to the ones you heard of in Finland. I have been told that they're amazing household helpers but if you do upset them, your chickens will stop laying and your goat or cow will dry up. If you aren't kinda self sufficient if you upset your home's Brownie then expect breakages in crockery, windows etc. You can apologise and make sure you don't forget to leave them something nice to eat and drink as, they're essentially household helpers. When I move into my cabin back in Scotland, I intend to do whatever I can for bees and other insects as well as nesting boxes and I think it would be kind of cool to make little houses...just as a thought so they know that I include elementals when I say that 'our woodland is going to be a sanctuary'.

When I was younger I'd spend so much time out in nature with my neighbors, since we live in a decently wooded area. They told me that the little black dots on the underside of ferns were fairy eggs, and I believed them for quite a while, but even now I still sort of see fern seeds as fairy eggs. It's just sort of magical to think about. Also, recently at night I feel very soft, cool breezes around my forearms even when all the windows are closed and there's really no way for wind to be getting in my room. It's always only around my arms, nowhere else. I also saw a small shadow dash across my room a few nights ago as I was getting ready to sleep. After watching this I think and hope that they might be fairies!

When I'm in the state of between falling asleep and being awake I ususallu hear voices of spirits, and I remember when it just started happening to me I would freak out but then I started getting used to it, and I didn't knew that it could work the same with fairies .o. When I was in elementary school I always had a deep connection with “fairies”. I would go out on the grass when it was windy, storming, sun shining and hold my little gems out in the air because in my mind I was “soaking up their energy?” I had no education on the fae growing up but I always told people I felt like a fairy and felt very connected. Something has always brought me to spiritual beings from a young age and I think that’s for a reason.

I have a Fae Doorway in my backyard. I helped it look more beautiful by adding moss, old pieces of wood, a river rock pathway that leads to a natural mossy cave thing. It is so pretty.

Lately I've become very interested in the realm of the fae, I made an 11 page online grimoire full of things such as ways of communication, understanding, and offerings from various sources. Just by one day I've started noticing small shapes or small orbs of light (one was very confident and appeared right in front of me and continued to fly past my head). I've also noticed that with the newfound curiosity I am less afraid of the spirit realm. I take this as proof that just by showing interest, you can open yourself up to a whole new world.

Well I'm 2:36 in the video and I feel I can trust you just by how calm you speak and how you are not over hyped. I have somewhat believed in this type of creature and I have had a strange accidental meeting with one in one of our parks where I live. What made it seem off was it was on a day that no body was around.

Each time I felt like I've seen my third eye blinking and twirling. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning and start to fall asleep again I see it again. Is this all related do you think?

Im so excited to see fairies. I have always wanted to see fairies my whole life! They are so magical. And that’s how we get all our seasons from, it comes from the fairies. I built a fairy house so I hope they like it and will come. I also added my pony’s so when the pixie dust is getting worked on the pony’s help them!

I think that I have seen a fairy before this present day I was singing in my balcony ( Like I do everyday) and today it was kind of different,so when I was singing just when I started lots of type of birds(not pigeons ) came on my railing and after some time I saw a little human body kind of butterfly first I thought it was just my imagination but when I went closer it was a real FAIRY she smiled and waved her hands up and down I thought she wanted me to sing so I did I sang about fairies she started dancing and now when I am sleeping in my room all the fairies come and wake me up and they always showed me a magical story now I am used to them sometimes we also play but most of the time they just show me a story they always come when I sing that is why I have to sing in private Amyra from sis club

I have started studying about fairies and today a kinda big moth (from those cute faced ones) flew in and landed in my lamp in a position that looked like it was watching me, you know like it's eyes locked with mine It was soo cute

I've been seeing them in on my property. I live on top of a mountain and it's all forest/woods in the back. Which is why I'm here. I typed in the search "Finding fairies" They are very fast, and sometimes I feel like they glow or something because I'll see whisps of light. Not just in peripheral vison, I'll see them looking straight at them. It's kinda cool. I wish they would make contact with me. I'll talk to them and try to tell them it's ok. But I'm not sure if they understand what I am saying. So I then try to just raise my vibration and give off good intentions.

Hi zoe my name is kristi i have a large spiritual family of all different type's of spirit's including the fairy's so i am always having different spiritual experience's & i believe that once i did the will of the fairy's i was at one of my ex's house & he lived closer to the same river that we both live by & i was sitting outside on the porch at night & out of the blue i felt that i could connect with the fairy's & i called for the fairy's out loud to come & be with me & right away within 1 minute i heard something moving under the porch & immediately 2 cat's came out from under the porch & they sat in front of me & i made friend's with one of them in a few minute's & i adopted her in 2 month's & the other one took me 6 month's to make friend's with & almost 1yr to adopt & she was skin & bone's with p.t.s.d & it took 3 month's to get her weight to normal & 2yrs afterward's i had a weird dream of her & we communicated in the dream the house was on fire & i was getting all of the pet's out & she ran to the hole in the closet under the floor board's & she wanted to know what was happening & i told her that the house is on fire & i needed to get her out & she asked me if she is going to be alone again & i said no she asked me if she was going to be living with someone else & i said no the only thing that is changing is we will be living in a different house & she looked at me & she said no she wasn't leaving even if it meant her death because this is the place where she was loved this is the place where she was welcomed & this is the place where she was wanted & she had no intention of leaving it & after her death she still wanted live here & if i tried to get her she was going to disappear into the hole & i would lose her & if i left her i would lose her so it was a standoff when the dream ended but i have always believed that it was the will of the fairy's to have these 2 cat's

this is unrelated to the fae but it is a question, i was once meditating and i visualised being in a space like void i was stairing at the moon and as i was staring at the moon i felt my eyes roll back involintary but it was not scary i felt somewhat powerful

i want to connect with mother nature and it’s little creatures and every amazing thing god has provided us with. thank you for this💕my mom also said that god has give us these powers that we don’t know how to use and we are in denial to use so we don’t think of it. my mom is very spiritual and she try’s to connect with her powers. An old lady once came up to her and told her she could talk to nature that she is the enlightened one idk so lol
