I'd recommend using the flashlight most, and switch to the candle every couple of seconds to test for rush, then your candle lasts the whole 10 doors

What I hate about the greenhouse is the thunder which makes it hard to hear Rush coming. Edit: I just got the a-1000 badge!

I just, as soon as I open the door, I immediately go to the closet next to me, if nothing happens, I move on. This tactic also works well in the A-rooms, as to hide from the entity, you need to hide in the closet of the previous room.

I noticed that every time you open the door, there are ALWAYS gonna be 2 closets on the right. So if you don't have a candle after opening the door stand next to the closets and if Rush doesn't spawn move on. Another thing to remember is that if Screech spawns and you hide in a closet it will despawn. So if you get Rush and screech, you won't have to worry about Screech. And something else to keep in mind, if you have a candle and it goes out and Rush is coming, DO NOT immediately hide in the closet because Hide might kick you out right in front of Rush so watch out.

Every time I have a candle, I tend to die to rush cause I’m dependent on the candle, and the trap ends up getting me killed. Still, the only time I beat the game was when I didn’t have a candle, and I was focused on where I was going after I opened the door; I would immediately find the nearest closet and wait for rush to come first, then go to the next room.

The main reason Greenhouse is hard is of course Snare, but aswell the background noises the game plays. Sometimes these sounds make me think Rush is coming, or sometimes they could play at the worst time right when Rush is coming. Also keep in mind Rush can be sneaky, i died once to that because i never heard Rush until it was too late, so listen closely and don't distract yourself.

some tips and corrections from a player with 430 deaths: 1. defo bring a light source and a candle if you can. 2. the main entities here are: screech, rush, eyes and snare however jack or shadow might spawn. 3. the candle is unreliable as another entity might trigger the candle to go out or it might bug 4. make sure there's an available closet near you 5. try to use a lighter during an encounter with eyes in a dark room, screech and eyes is a powerful entity combo 6. bring a lighter for this - it helps prevent screech 7. save your flashlight for door100 8. bring a crucifix if you struggle at this part 9. if you end up having no light sources, you can wait for guiding light to appear at both doors (entry and exit doors) as it's light is bright enough to help u see snare.

Tip: you can hear the candle light go out even when you’re not equipping it, so you have an indicator without wasting too much fuel But it is pretty faint so if there are loud sounds, then pull it out Also, how much hp you hve doent matter anymore, since the snares can’t kill you and rush and figure one shot you Sure there might be screech or eyes, but they are very easy to dodge So don’t panick too much when you have 1 hp

how i beat the greenhouse is pretty simple, i saved flashlight battery. and then used vitamins to rush through the doors whilst running the plant things, i also randomly go to closets for a second on each 1-2 doors

The thing I hate most about the greenhouse is that the fact there is no lights, so it’s getting pretty annoying from dying to rush because of that.

This is actually useful specially you point out the most was snare since I'm always getting caught by it (Thanks to the herb which or prevents me from dying). I als always go to right than extreme which is why I keep getting caught by snare. Althought I always stay near at any closets just in case rush attacks. I also haven't really used candles (since I can't find one) and I also just knew its purpose because of this video.

Walking near the closets in the green house is useful when you don't have a candle you just need to listen closely to your surroundings

one time i was in the greenhouse section, i didnt have any source of light. luckily, there was lighting, which made me see every thing in less than a sec. but still the lightning is good edit: also, if you have shaders, they also sorta give extra light! not very helpful but it works

before watching this video when i was passing the greenhouse half of the time i standed scared in front of the hiding spot listening for rush, thank you for making my game 2 times easier

The reason to rush spawning twice is because rush can trigger any event in the next door. So if eyes appears when rush opens it, it is because rush triggers the event.

I’m 2 weeks late but extra note rush opens the next door that hasn’t been open yet which trigger another rush attack I found it out when 2 of them attacked and I noticed the doors infront are opened Another side note don’t use candle very often like keeping it out I prefer using a flashlight or lighter to see the spikes on the ground and use the candle for 2 seconds to check for rush

As someone who has survived the greenhouse rooms many times before, you don’t need a candle or any light source at all, what I do is I just turn my brightness up and every time I open a door I go as fast as possible to where I think closets might be, looking closely at the ground and then I stop to wait until I hear Rush, it’s extremely good to have Eyes spawn because he lights up the ground to make avoiding snares easier. (But if you have a light, especially the candle, I would definitely recommend using it, I only use this strat because I never manage to preserve my lights until this point in the game, also if you’re unlucky you might get snared, so if you have a light shine it at the ground, if you’re using a candle don’t depend on it too much because while it’s useful, it could be eyes or screech or something like that, so still make sure to stop and listen when near closets.)

In the super hard mode update it’s soooo annoyingly hard because there are absolutely no closets for me to hide in and rush and his bros (for the super hard mode) help him out. It’s irritable and snare takes a hell worth of time to get untrapped which causes me to die whenever rush comes around

I recommend the flashlight bc the candle doesn’t give enough light to find a closet or find the door it also distracts you when the candle blows out you’ll be more focused on the light also the candle runs out easily as the flashlight it gives enough light to find the door and a closet since your flashlight didn’t run out you can use it for door 100 too you can also watch out for snare with the flashlight I hope this helped! if no candles (or just dont wanna use it) you can just do this: when entering just go to the nearest locker and wait for around 15 to 20 seconds you can go safe and increase it to 30 seconds if you dont want to risk it

Also in the update when rush turns out the light screech spawns. He no longer just spawns in rooms that are already dark. He now come in all dark rooms.

I have tried more than time to beat green house also I was using the candle or the lighter or both of them to normal doors and saving the flashlight for the green house but I always die from rush because when I try to hear him I can not hear him good and hear him when he come to close from me and die but now I am sure that I can do it thanks for the these tips

Two things, i recommend know safe spots (no closet surviving) because that increments your survive chances, turn your volume at 100%, when you open a door wait until rush appears, if he appears wait again don't move because can spawned other rush because he opened the next door

I never thought about using a candle to see if there’s rush or not, dude ur genius

I usually just use candle or lighter for greenhouse because both of it have a further light radius which makes it easy to spot snares

I would also suggest to use all items that light up such as the candle, the lighter, the flashlight and the gummy flashlight.
