The AU in a nutshell: *confused Phil noises*

Phil only understands what’s happening when Techno just wrecks an orphanage in hoglin form

Phil: Wow, can't wait to show Techno this boar I befriended. Technoblade internally: Bruh...

Of course, Technoblade's response to almost dying: "Not even close."

"Techno?" Philza called, looking for his friend, he ran through the crimson forest, hope rising at every silhouette, and it falling as he say it was just a pigmen or piglin. Little did he know that Techno had just entered the Nether. Techno puffed up to a Hoglin, more than twice his own size. The blood god was boiling with anger as he realized who was to pay for this, if he knew anything, he knew he needed his revenge on Dream, but as he tried to go through the portal, it shattered. "Techno!" Phil called again, his voice cutting though the soft chuckle of lava and quite piglin and pigman chatter. Techno turned to his old friend's direction, and happily ran to his friend, easily getting into the flow of moving as a Hoglin. Phil slid against a tree, sliding to the red grass-like thing, starting to give up. Techno stopped in front of Phil, trying to say "I'm here, Phil", but instead coming out as a hoglin-sounding grunt. Phill's eyes imminently opened, first fear at the sight of the hoglin looking at him, and then confusion as he realized it wasn't attacking, and instead standing in front of him with a happy look (well he thought it looked happy)."What?" Phil asked. Techno carefully gripped Phil's robe thingy (What is it called? oh well) with his teeth, and started to drag Phil away, why struggled to try and get out of his firm grip. He lied down and dragged Phil on top of him, into his surprisingly soft fur. Phil settled into his fur, feeling like he was home as he closed his eyes, and for a moment, or a minute, forgot where he was. He remembered the fur coat he wore in the artic, sitting around a fire with- TECHNO! He jumped up, realizing Techno wasn't there, and that he needed to continue to look for his friend. He started to run through the forest, once again searching for his friend. Techno immediately jumped to his feat and followed Phil, who after feeling the rumble of the ground turned for a second, counting to walk for a second, and turning back, realizing that he was following. Phill was annoyed at the hoglin's insistence on following, he seized the hoglin's horns and pushed, trying, and failing to move him back. "No." he told the hoglin as they pushed against each other, Techno trying to go forward, and Phil trying to stop him. Techno stopped trying to go forward, Phil looked confused at the hoglin's warm smile. Techno lifted his head, and Phill with it, despite Phil's many protests. Techno moved them to a place just outside of the forest, a large netherack expanse. Phil let go, plopping down into a sitting heap, Techno stood over him protectively, scanning for treats that tried to attack his friend. He spotted some other hoglins bounding towards Phill. Phil watched as Techno bound towards the stampeding hoglins, their horns clashing. The hoglins had no idea the mistake they made when they decided to go after Phil, that they were facing a Blood God. With a flick of Techno's head, he broke off the horns of the other hoglins, and easily finishing them off. In that moment, Phil realized that there was no way that this strange hoglin would leave. He studied the hoglin, realizing that he cared for at as he notices a small scratch on his snout from the fight, the scars he hadn't noticed till now. The two traveled together for a while, Phil looking for Techno, not realizing he was right there, by his side, and Techno hoping to see Dream, to kill him. Philza smiled at Techno, holding up a leach he had made, Techno's ears dropped in annoyance, his eyes unimpressed, and frankly annoyed. It took 10 minutes of tugging, and pulling, and resistance to get the leash on. Once on, Techno started walking away, also dragging Phil, who was trying to lead him the other way, but failing miserably. Phill promptly gave up on his leash idea, much to Techno's delight. Eventually, Phil lied on the netherack, tired from trying to pull Techno. Techno settled on top of him, although not making him hold up his crushing weight. Phil (Okay, I give up with this description, just, I'm trying to explain 0:38). After finishing resting, Phil wondered what it would feel like to be on the Hoglin's back, and wondering if he'd let him. Phil struggled unto his back, flapping his wings to help him get on, once on, he almost fell off. Although he eventually had gotten a good position. Techno's head twisted to see Phil, who smiled back. Techno returned it, and Techno walked across the land, Phil left to hold on. Techno took them down a netherack path, careful about the edge of the path, a sharp drop to lava. As they passed through the soul sand valley, Phill didn't notice Techno taking some. Skeletons shot at them, but Techno dodged them, bounding across the valley, and seeing a fortress off the edge, Phil hoped that maybe they could find Techno there, farming wither skeletons, or at least get blaze rods for potions. Phil was about to warn the hoglin of the dangers of the fortress, but he could see, and feel, as Techno got ready, the voices in head demanding blood and withers. Phill was about to get off and make a path to the fortress, a few blocks away, blocked by a steep drop to lava. Before Phil could say a word, Techno jumped over the gap, like it was nothing, his ears perked, looking for the crackle of a blaze or the rattle or a wither skeleton. Phil took out his sword and shield. The two searched through the fortress, killing anything that stood in their way, they caried on, despite the wounds that started to form, the small burns. After searching the entire thing, despite the vast amounts of blaze rods he got, Phill sighed in disappointment, making no progress in his search for his friend. While Techno was mostly happy with it, he had gotten almost a stack of wither heads (that Phil didn't notice, somehow). They continued their journey. Before they were able to heal up, Techno spotted a nether portal, bounding towards it despite how it hurt, acedently re-oping a wound starting to heal. At first Phill was confused why the hoglin was running, and when he spotted the nether portal, his eyes lit up with hop of maybe finding Techno through there, hoping he had gone through the fortress, and went through the portal. At the portal, Techno stopped, remembering how he broke it before, Phil took this as his new friend getting worried to leaving his home in the nether "Hey mate, it'll be alright." Phill told Techno. That was all the reassurance Techno needed to cross into the overworld, he carefully went in, with his carefulness, avoiding destroying the portal. Phil took a deep breath of fresh air, happy not to be in the overwhelming heat of the nether. They were in the depths of a forest. The sun starting to set. They came across a ruined orphanage, Phil lit up with hope, and Techno stared happily at his hand-y work, remembering destroying this particular orphanage. They went across a valley, and as the sun set, settled into a small area not engulfed with trees. Before settling into sleep, Phill pulled out some arrows stuck in Techno, the ones they didn't manage to dodge. In the morning, Phil stretched, his wings stretching with his arms, rising for the new day. Techno rose to his feet. Phil (Again with description, go to 1:06, that's the moment i'm trying to write out) and pointed to a direction, and started to walk in the direction, expecting Techno to follow. Techno pulled Phil onto his snout with his horns. Phil was a bit confused at first, looking into Techno's eyes, but was happy with his position. After a bit of walking, Techno spotted Dream, Phil was confused as Techno set him into the ground and then took off, leaving Phill in the dust. Techno ran to dream, furry ruffling his fur, boiling under his skin, the voices demanding blood and vengeance. "DREAM!" Techno hollered, that ended up sounding like an loud roar, and a battle cry. Dream turned, immedenlty knowing the hoglin was Techno, and that he demanded revenge. The reason why replying in his head "I know you cheated in the duel!" Dream had spat at Techno. "I didn't, I didn't need to, I'm better than you." Techno had replied coolly. Dream threw a potion at Techno, appearing to be nothing, Techno looked unimpressed. Techno had laughed, playing, pretending it did anything, laughing at Dream's supposed patheticness. Techno rammed into Dream, taking him into the present. *Insert cool fighting montage here* Dream fell of the cliff, basically already dead before hitting the bottom (Feel free to imagine Dream dying here or landing a successful clutch). Techno stumbled back, away from the cliff, happy to be able to defeat Dream wounded (The fortress and such) and not in his normal state, it seamed that for once the voices were happy. Phil had finally caught up to Techno, witnessing as he fell, battered and bruised from all the fights, landing with a loud thump that seamed to shake the ground. Phil pulled Techno's head into his arms, tears streamed down Phil's face as he worried for the hoglin's life. In a puff of smoke, the hoglin deflated? with a shhff. "What the..." Phil muttered, flinching. Lying there in the hoglin's place was Techno, in his normal form, wounds in the same places as the hoglins. "T.Techno??!.." Phil said/screamed. Phill shakily took Techno into his arms, Techno's wide awake from the motion "Don't you dare do something like that again..." Phil told Techno shakily. A small add on: "Not even close! TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES!" Technoblade assured Philza. Ta-da! I'm sorry for any mistakes, I hope you enjoyed my re-telling of the story. Even though I'm not the best writer, I wanted to try and write this story. Have a great rest of your day!

What if after the curse was lifted, Techno would sometimes transform against his own will, not being able to control it, freaking everyone out by his giant form. He would get violent, protecting Phil at all cost. After that, he would need help calming down, understanding his own emotion. After a long time, he would learn to control it and be able to transform when he would need to, usually to protect Phil or fight (I hc that hoglin skin is really hard and thick, that's why it's hard to kill them and they are annoying)

if this was a story I have a idea, they eventually get back to the cabin and all of Techno's animals recognise his scent, so now Phil is even more confused on why all of Techno's animals are suddenly attracted to this wierd hoglin thing that just showed up

The way Phil's wings flap when he climbs onto Techno's back looks... relatable somehow? Like wiggling your legs during a pull-up. As always, the movements in this animatics are just so well tought out!

I imagine that this story is about a expedition that techno and philza was going on, in the middle of it they get separated, I kind of thought that techno went to show off a e-pearl trick but instead of landing it, it instead hits DreamXD in the head. Since techno teleported, he landed right on top of DreamXD and makes him angry, therefore cursing techno. The only way he can transform back is if he proves his loyalty (or another thought was that he had to "become those who he has killed and share kin with" ) making techno into a giant boar. Philza who is now worried goes up to see where techno would've landed and instead sees this huge boar across from a lava pit, assuming the worst, philza thinks that techno got attacked and pushed into the lava. However, after a long while, the boar follows and befriends philza, helping him on his journey to find techno (if he was still alive) and protecting him. One day philza and techno boar went walking in the nether when a hoard of ghasts come and start attacking them, horribly wounding techno as he protects philza, because of his deed he goes back to being techno and philza holds him in his arms, desperately trying to heal him. I love the idea of Pilza talking to Tecno when he was a boar saying something like, “Awww…..who’s a good piglin? You are! Yes you are!” And Tecno teasing him about it forever.

This is such a cute concept but all I can imagine is Phil sprinting, sword in hand, in *full enchanted netherite* to kill a hoglin because he thinks it is gonna knock him into lava while techno is running away from him fearing for his life

imagine phil not knowing hoglins can't go through nether portals and he's trying to take hoglin techno through one because "well, techno might've gone through a nether portal" and techno just keeps trying to tell phil in pigspeak like "no--phil, i-i'm gonna zombify. this isn't gonna work phil. aren't you the creator of minecraft you should know this." phil obviously doesn't understand him and shenanigans ensue

I can’t help but see techno’s expressions in his hoglin form-thing-

The genuine concern Phil has for techno at 1:21 onwards opens up the possibility of Phil worrying about Techno during his search and telling the Hoglin all about it. One shot idea of Techno leaving to the nether after Tommy’s betrayal and can’t trust anyone. He gets stuck in Hoglin form and sees Philza looking for him. Techno brushes it off as Philza simply looking for his “powerful ally” Technoc but over time Philza shares stories about Techno and he sees that Philza truly cares for him like family.

I love this idea, and the art is amazing! Also this AU could probably fit into the time of Techno's break before the Syndicate lore stream. His "hibernation" could be a way to for him and Phil to explain away this event.

That's Techno's momentarily power up boost where his health, damage and speed gets raised and he just runs and smashes trough everything until he looses enough HP, which is what causes him to turn back to his original form. Also can I do fan art of this? ovo

A part two where Technoblade wakes up in a bed (idk maybe in a hospital maybe at Phil's) and Philza is just sitting there next to him and as soon as Techno wakes up Phil scolds him for the whole thing but ends up crying and so on...Just an Idea though

Now just imagine the reverse. Phil went to go and search for something, maybe some ancient information to bring his son back from the dead. Phil finds a book from a witch and when he steals it the witch finds out and turns him into a crow. Sadden by what has happened he returns home. Techno seems to be worried that Phil has yet to return, thinking that a baby zombie could of gotten him. He goes to find Phil but instead finds Phil's hat and a few shattered glass on the floor. Phil struggles to get Techno attention as a crow and goes to help him find the one who turned him into a bird. Techno goes on a rampage to try and kill the witch but gets distracted by crowza. When Phil is badly injured on the floor Techno realizes that the bird that defended the witch was actually Phil trying to stop Techno from destroying his only chance of turning back to his normal self

I am adding this to the list of headcanon I either make or the one that I actually like Also now I just imagine that is a way techno and Phil meet Phil first meet giant boar techno in the nether and was scared they fought but techno quickly stop as he saw Phil wasn’t actually evil/bad but Phil didn’t understand that until techno jumped over him to protect him from other mobs (maybe like all the mobs except piglin and hoglin) and Phil seeing this then understood that techno didn’t want to fight anymore and is not an enemie so friendship. Phil build a new nether portal that is way bigger so that techno can fit through and they gat back to the over world. Many years pass and Phil finds a way to turn techno human like and he does which leads to what goes on today. If you found any plot holes please tell me and also I would appreciate if you could suggest how to fix it Anywhay have a great morning/evening/night.

Techno stepped through the portal as he had done many times but this time something happened. He fell forward on his hands and knees as large tusks grew from his mouth. His body shifted and grew much larger than he had been originally, the voices yelled loudly in his head he had become a hoglin. Techno shook his head letting out a grunt his voice had been replaced by the howling noises of a boar. Usually he knew how to get out of tough situations but this time was different. He didn’t have hands. Yep that’s the only reason why he couldn’t fix this himself, his lack of hands. The only person who knew that he was missing was Philza, they were supposed to meet up at the nether fortress to get supplies. Would Philza be looking for him? Techno wondered, probably but only because he would need the blood gods help down here. Techno sighed that would have to be good enough because Phil was his only hope. Techno continued on looking for his crow like ally, soon he heard his own name slicing through the silence “Technoooooobladeee!!” Philza cried out into the darkness his voice horse, he must have been yelling for awhile now. Techno charged towards him following the sound of his name. Philza fell backwards in shock at the sight of the large hoglin in front of him. Techno realized that Philza would probably be scared of a large boar charging him so he promptly flopped down at Phil’s feet and looked up at his ally. Philza looked at the large beast with cautious curiosity. “Who might you be big guy?” He asked his kind nature showing. Techno wanted to laugh Philza was talking to a hoglin as if he was just another person. He attempted to answer but only grunts came from his mouth. Philza chuckled “Do you want to help me find my friend Techno?” He asked. If boars could roll their eyes Techno would have, he let out a sigh he’d help Phil find Techno, help him find out he was Techno that is he grunted and pulled Philza up as the smaller man clutched tightly to his tusks “I’ll take that as a yes.” He said with a yelp. The two wandered around Philza looking for Techno and Techno looking for a way to show Philza who he was. Soon the two were tired and sat to rest. Philza’s worried expression deepened “Where his he” he wondered. Techno didn’t expect Philza to be this worked up about his disappearance especially if all he was looking for was a weapon. “Techno would really like you” Philza said causing Techno to look at him “He’s really sweet with animals and you remind me of him.” Philza mused “I’m so worried about him.” His frown grew as he spoke “I wish I knew that he was ok at the very least I mean he is strong but still I can’t help but worry.” Techno desperately wanted to reassure him that he was fine but all that came from him was a soft grunt as he nuzzled his snout into Philza. The man laughed at this “Thanks heh Techno will be fine and with your help we’ll find him in no time right buddy.” Techno nodded. His goal had changed all he wanted now was to let Philza know that he was ok. The days past they fought monsters and with some struggle Philza learned that riding Techno was much faster but they were no closer to finding Techno or well revealing Techno. Soon they stumbled upon the portal that had caused this mess. This gave Techno an idea he charged forward into the portal but instead of going back home it exploded. A cry pierced through the air Philza’s fear for his newfound friend pulled him towards Techno now collapsed. He pulled the hog like head into his lap “Hey why’d you do that?” He asked his voice shaking suddenly the weight on his lap lessened and a large cloud of smoke obscured his vision “Wh-What?” His words stumbled out of his mouth. Where the boar once lay bloody and bruised laid his friend Techno back in his own body covered in the injuries the beast had sustained. “T-TECHNO?!?” Philza cried clutching his friend. He buried his face into Techno’s chest. “Never do that again!” He sobbed as Techno regained consciousness. He gave a strained chuckle “You can’t get rid of me that easily.” Techno laughed his first words since becoming a hoglin. He was free.

this could be an origin were-hog and evolved version of a hoglin -has 5 extra hearts in nether and 3 in overworld -mushrooms give more saturation -special ability would be turning into a hoglin-1 minute cool down -can do a headbutt/through move where they toss character 3-4 blocks in the air-35 second cool down -when around other hoglins they do 4 damage with their fists -2.5 blocks tall -takes extra damage to projectile ; ae crossbows. bow & arrow, trident, etc. -cant eat meat -get slowness in hot biomes, -due to being big they need more food aka 2 extra hunger slots -when leaving a nether portal they become sick for 15 seconds with nausea mining, phateigh , and slowness idk if some of theese things are possible

I discovered this animatic about seven months ago (maybe even more, idk lol) and I'm so happy I did-the great animation on top of introducing me back to one of my favorite childhood songs! _I'm not going to continue this but_ "What the hell..?" The man in green was thrown to the floor through instinct as the hoglin appeared in front of him. He couldn't believe his eyes, there was a literal hoglin, an aggressive creature..but the creature still hasn't made its move. He's seen countless of aggressive mobs, big and small. He's seen hoglins as much, but he's never seen one just like the one in front of him. It was like the first time he's seen a hoglin, but this time.. it's huge. He kept his position, frozen. The hoglin tilted its head, walking toward the man. "..What??" The man was interrupted as he was now being dragged. "..Ha??" He was still in the state of shock, a giant hoglin is dragging him. Yet.. it didn't hurt, it seemed rather gentle for a huge hoglin. 'Come on- Techno, where are you??' The man thought, not realizing that the hoglin that was carrying him was the person he's been looking for.

They just to cute together for being bestfriend. Like techno like to hang out and trust phil more than anyone else in the dsmp. and phil have open characteristic. that just cute. It's not ship just wholesome and friendship love realationship stuff. it's warm my heart and about to melt. and of course I love it!!

You really put this AU to life with the animatic - my god. I love the way this is drawn, fromnthe expressions to the movement. The sketchy lines are easy to follow despite being unfinished. I love Phil's expressive wing flaps. Their relationship is really well portrayed. Well done all-around

ok, hears my righting, I will only do what is in the vid thou: techno stumbled out of the fortress, his legs feeling weak, he felt the loud thud as his body flopped onto the ground. techno sensed his friends presence and lifted his head. to his delight, it was Phil, he let out a sigh of relief. Phil eyed him down from head to toe ( or hoof in piglin) techno got to his feet and contemplated how to walk for a moment, finding it surprisingly easy when he didnt think about it. as he neared his friend Phil said "" what?......"" techno huffed and grabbed him by the color, dragging him to a nearby ledge. as he set Phil down. soon he started to feel tired. as techno lay down he felt Phil lean against him, techno noticed his nervous energy (problably to find me) he thought. Phil slept for a little while before waking up and leaving, techno fallowed him for a short bit before Phil turned around and grabbed him by the tusks, techno was slightly offended by such an attitued from Phil, he huffed as Phil fought with his face for a few moments and mumbled "" no, no.... NO!"" Phil stopped and stared at him for a hot minute, techno huffed again and lifted Phil off the ground with ease, keeping the grim look on his face. Phil screeched in terror ""NO!"" techno continued to walk as Phil flailed his legs and scream no, he heared a ghast in the distance and dropped Phil, standing over him in a protective way. a little while later as they were walking techno heared leather tighten and turned his head. Phil had a leash in his arms and smiled grimly. technos head drooped slightly. "no way" he thought. it took about ten minutes of struggling before Phil maniged (sry cant spell that word) to slip it over technos neck. techno simply turned around and walked off, Phil in tow. a few moments later Phil fell over and gave up, sighing in dissapointment, techno lay down and rested his head on Phils chest, Phil pet him and chuckled quietly, after a little bit of rest techno got up and started to smell for something helpfull, preferably the man who cursed him. he felt something rub against him and turned his head as Phil started to climb up technos back. Phil fanned hiswings out and started to flap his wings like a humming bird, he got his leg over technos ribcage and smiled as he sat up. techno lifted his head and smiled at Phil, who smiled back. he then turned and bolted, techno felt Phils grip tighten as he flew back. techno and Phil raced across soulsand planes and netherack cliffs, techno engoying his time and Phil surching for him. they nearly had a close call when techno missed a patch of lava, instincts kicked in and he jumped, missing the ten foot gap by inches. they then started to look for things, techno looking for the man who cursed him, and Phil looking for his best friend. they soon after ran into some skeletons and techno got shot, after the battle Phil started to pull out the arrows that struck techno as he lay on the ground moaning. about twelve hours had past since the last time they slept, they rested for a few hours as Phil ate some food in his satchel, wilste feeding techno some crimson fungus he found wile riding. after a nap they both got up and stretched, Phil smiled as techno got up and reached out his hand. witch techno took kindly. Phil turned around and signaled for them to walk, but techno thought otherwise, he scooped Phil up onto his snout and trotted off. a few hours later Phil told techno to wait wear he was but techno refused, Phil sighed and walked into the bastion remnant, techno trailing behind. as they were nearing a corner the ground shook slightly, (again) technos instincts kicked in and he charged in front of Phil, a hoglin burst around the corner and locked eyes with Phil behind techno. they both huffed and charged, techno banged his head into the other hoglins, techno being slightly bigger, had some force behind him. two more hoglins appeared and rammed into technos shoulder and ribcage. techno suddenly heared the voices start to scream for death and decided to listen, techno flung his head up and snapped the first hoglins jaw, it fell to the ground and lay still, not dead yet. the second and third one scraped against his sides and cut deep into his hide, technos eyes flushed black and white as pure rage took over, no one beats techno. techno scooped the second hoglin up with his tusks and flung it into the wall, breaking its back. the last hoglin was the biggest, almost matching technos size. it and techno locked tusks and kicked each other many times. techno suddenly flung his head up and rammed it down, snapping the hoglins neck. it fell to the ground, dead. techno turned back to Phil a moment later, who hadnt moved an inch, techno moaned in pain and fell over, breathing hard. Phil rushed over and fell to his knees, scooping technos head in his arms. techno closed his eyes and winced, his body feeling weirred and tingly. Phil rested his head on technos and sobbed quietly. techno suddenly felt his body tingling, he heared Phil say ""what the.....?"" as his body changed back to human. as the dust cleared techno lie on the ground wincing in pain, Phil nearly screamed ""T.... Techno?!"". techno mumble ""ow"", as Phil grabbed him and hugged him. techno was a little confused as this was the first time Phil hugged him, Phil mumbled "" dont you ever do anything like that again...."" ok Guys that was all, hope you liked it, it deffo was not my best peace but, what ever, I hope you have a nice day!

This is amazing! I love how when Techno just started pulling Philza across the screen.

I've watched this so many times and every time I just want to cry, I don't know. It is just so cute and it gives me so much serotonin. It makes me so happy, all the little expressions and gestures and the little flap flap of Phil's wings. It took me a few watches to notice one of his wings is hurt and that's why he couldn't climb on Techno. All of it is so freaking adorable!!! The comedic scenes with the leash and how Techno drags him around at the start like "ok this human is in my protection now" and every time after that because he is just so huge and Phil is no match. But also Techno just cares and lifts him up and carries him around and protects him. I can't handle this. I love it so much. Techno looks so cute like a huge hoglin, I love his floppy ears and how expressive he is in that form too! Also the human transformation was also very touching. I love this so much, I can't express it enough!!! 💗💗💗 Edit: After rewatching it once again I was checking the comments and realized I had gotten the story wrong probably! I thought they didn't know each other at all and Phil was just adopted by this hoglin (I had httyd in mind so that's why I assumed they just found each other at random) which he named Techno and it turned out to be a human at the end which surprised him! I love the idea that they are their canon selves and Phil is just oblivious too! Aaah! I love every version of this so much.

I think now that Techno is gone (Rest In Piece T) and there's gonna be a season 2, I think it would be great to have him reincarnated as a Hoglin to accompany Phil in season 2. Think that would be amazing to see
