First Mistake was to Pit early on the Mediums from Ferrari. Because they felt pressured from Max as he was pumping in the fast Laps on the fresh medium. And then also not going long on the second Medium Tire, which made switching on the Softs impossible, because they would not last. So they basically doomed themselves there as you have to use 2 different compounds in the race 😂😂 And then the Box call for Carlos, when he said "not yet" you might have to consider to give up your Job as a strategist, if your driver is smarter than you 🤡

Differents between Charles and Max is that when Max feels like its a bad call, he Will say it right away and they Will adept to Max. Sometimes Max does the stragey in the car and just say i want this tyres next. Charles don’t have any push back. If the team say do this, Charles Will do it even if he don’t agree. Even Saint Will go against his own team. Example, last week GP.
@ZuwzeРік тому
Major difference is also that Redbull and Merc are confident on the radio, if they are sure about a strategy you can hear it their voice. Ferrari's response is always, "copy we will check". Ferrari seems to decide everything during the race, where's RB and Merc both have solid plans and contingency for chaning conditions.
@capbarkerРік тому
I hope he'll learn to hold his own. But also it shouldn't be a driver's job to strategise, even if they are able. It's an absolute disgrace that the ferrari pit wall, with all the information available to them and the option to ask drivers for feedback all at once, make a worse call than their driver mid race.
@BeastRobinnРік тому

He has this security blanket that he could not afford last year.
@rash500mРік тому
@@aesir1ases64 I'm not saying they were is fault, but for example: Silverstone: If he backed up a bit after having Hamilton dive the inside and survived the turn, he would've probably gained back the place later as he had more pace and not lost 25 points, and even if he didnt, it would have been 18 points instead of 0. Monza: If he let Hamilton on cold tyres go first in the chicane, he would have probably passed him quite easily in the "straight" turn right after and beat him on braking at the next chicane because of his grip advantage at that moment, instead of both ending out. 2 situations that resulted in almost 50 points less over the season and would have made it a lot easier for him in Abu Dhabi. None were his fault(which people do and will argue about) but he could have came out of both on top had he been a bit more patient, and my point is that he is finally developing his skill to judge when to and when not to go for an overtake or defense now that he is maturing :)
