I’ll tell you what; I moved to NYC in ‘98, right around the time all of this Magic show stuff took place. The memories of cycling to work down 9th Ave. listening to the Stern show’s daily evisceration of The Magic Hour, are among my fondest EVER.

Around 11:00 they remark that celebrities won't go on any shows that will ask them interesting questions. Robin replies that he'll be able to get guests, but nobody will listen. A forecast of their own show's fate in about two decades...

fate 2 decades later? Did you not hear them make George Takei a cohost? Did you not see Howard name drop and blow Rebecca romijn, John stamos, Jimmy kimmel, David letterman, Adam levine, basically anybody who was willing to do an interview with him whether they were a list or D list, if they were any type of celebrity he would kiss their ass & any celebrity that he had any trouble booking he would go on his show and Bash There is no lame or talk show in the history of Television than Jimmy Fallon's late-night shows, and your best friend and boyfriend artie lange has happily has done all of those shows So none of these people have actual morals or principles, they just do what they have to do to get ahead. They actually want to be a part of that in crowd, they're not fighting against it. Howard was exactly the same back then as he is today
