Hwei is so fun to play. At first he might seem to have a complicated kit but after a couple of games you sort of get the hang of it. It’s hard to be bored playing a champion that has 10 abilities.

Hwei's voice actor is by far one of the best they've hired in a long time. There's emotions and tones within his voice that others don't have and it's glaringly obvious.

Remember when champions had three abilities, a passive, and an ultimate?

Now we need a 3 stance (qwe) champion that moves alot of the battlefield. Not like Udyr that focus on AA but actually gives other spells/moves in another stance.

As someone who has been playing LOL for over 10 years. Its insane you can play a champ like Trundle and then play Hwei. I understand the game has to grow but every new character does not need 10 abilities.

Played a couple of custom game with him and I am obsessed! As a mage main, I find his kit very fun. I think I already memorized his spell combo 😂 Even though there are many combos, I find it easy to track all 9 of them compared to Aphelios' kit.

my new main... since he reminds me of simpler version of Invoker and I love playing skill dependent champs ... though his projectiles should be faster and his EW should go through minions otherwise he is dope.

If properly balanced then this should be one of the hardest champions in the game. Knowing which ability to use in what situation is going to be a huge skill test.

Champions b4: 1 passive, 3 basic abilities and 1 ultimate, each one can be described in a single sentence Champions now: 4+ passives, at least 7 basic abilities that also affect the ultimate, you can add understanding how to play them on your CV

HUAWEI are making champions now?

There are only two options for this champion, either he is totally imbalanced with these abilities, or he is nerfed so hard that he is not/hardly played. Another champion that is easily overloaded, Briar is being nerfed with every patch for a reason. There simply has to be a maximum of what a champion can do.

Fun fact, in mid season invitational 2016 opening ceremony, they kinda teased this champion I think? I remember one comment there saying that “This opening ceremony could tease a champion” and they kinda did after 7 years.

This champion is so overloaded. Xerath, brand, nami, karma, fiddle, renata all in one.

Part of the charm of league, has always been the complexity created by finding creative ways to use simple abilities. This character was clearly designed by someone who couldn't handle the idea that someone might miss how complex their character is. So much depth, so much inner struggle. I'm so deep and misunderstood. It used to be that when you read a book, you could draw your own conclusions to modern events or find some hidden meaning / draw comparisons to things.. This character is designed by someone who has opinions that are louder than the rainbow behind his shoulders. It's like a vegan trying to be subtle about why they think eating meat is bad when nobody was talking about food. As a fairly liberal consumer, who doesn't care what anyone does to their own body -- I just wanna play video games. I do not wanna know that the developers care more about sending a message than game design.. and quite frankly I'm getting really tired of companies like Blizzard and Netflix taking every opportunity possible to shove their ideology down my throat. I'll vote for your ability to do whatever you want to yourself but please shut up about it.

Champions will be more creative and interesting setting hard restrictions: Make a normal painter champion with a standard Passive-Q-W-E-R setup will create something players can actually play and enjoy, fun to watch, and even more fun to play!

I can totally see Riot struggle to balance this champion or he gets over nerfed and gets thrown into a support role
