Museum staff came RUNNING when I tripped and KNOCKED OVER Liberace's Costume!
My visit to the Nevada State Museum and my accidental FALL into Liberace's suit, causing it to fall on top of me.
The Los Angeles Times says, "Scott Michaels knows where the bodies are buried!"

One day many years ago I was in a Walmart type store when I saw about 30 bicycles displayed upright in a long row. I approached them and for some reason reached out and touched the handlebars of the first one. In what seemed like slow motion every one fell, domino fashion with a crash. I desperately tried to pick the first one up but found that the handlebars and foot peddles had become intertwined making what looked like a modern art sculpture of bike parts. Employees came running over and I started to apologize profusely. They just started to try to un-mate them and I quietly tried to fade away. My boyfriend (now my husband) had disappeared and I found him at the other side of the store pretending to look at kitchen tools. To be honest I couldn’t blame him, lol!

I used to live next door to the Liberace Museum (on Tropicana Ave.) in Las Vegas. It made me sad when it closed (2010) because it was one of the few remaining bits of Old Vegas. It's good to see his memorabilia on display again. Those old school entertainers were the best and they made Vegas a really cool, exciting, glamorous place. Now that town is something else altogether. Yuck!

That ending was perfect! 😂 I'm a Vegas native but never made it out to the museum. Thanks for sharing the experience and your little accident. Shit happens and I'm sure Liberace would have had a good laugh about it.

Watching this quietly as not to disturb a sleeping nextdoor neighbor, when I hear, "Lets say goodbye to Scott....bye, bye!" I let out the loudest string of laughter I have had in such a long time...still laughing!!!

I backed into Charlie Chaplin at Madame Tussaud’s in New York. It was so crowded no one noticed. It scared the crap out of me.
