So Sonic the Hedgehog and IHOP did a collab for some reason. Food menu items based off your favorite Sonic characters. They have some outfits to unlock in Sonic Superstars for the Nintendo Switch and some reward points for the IHOP mobile app, but for the most part it's the Sonic Ihop food menu items. There's Sonic's Blue Blur Special which is the IHOP blueberry pancakes, Knuckles' Chicken Sandwich with onion rings, a chicken sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, etc, Tails 2x2x2 which is 2 eggs, 2 bacon or sausage, and 2 buttermilk pancakes, Dr. Eggman's Benedict which is a black forest ham eggs benedict with hashbrowns, the dine-in only Amy's Sweet Strawberry Delight which is a quarter waffle with ice cream, strawberries, and chocolate, and Shadow's Chaos Chocolate Pancakes which is a four stack of chocolate chip pancakes and whip cream.

I do it all the time. I recommend everyone try it once and then watch it back enough times to notice the people in the background and you’ll notice that they aren’t paying any attention to you.

If you take a look at the regular menu online, you'll quickly realize that the Sonic menu items are just regular menu options with Sonic and friends' names slapped on them.

cause Sonic Drive-In is awful tbh, like they put the least effort possible when they add things to a menu. at least Taco Bell has had some home run sluggers with the Doritos Locos Tacos and Cinnabon Delights. Sonic's would've just slapped the blue blur's name on their pathetic Chili Dog and called it a day, IHOP for the most part TRIED. A- for Effort, woulda been plus but they did my boy Tails dirty and i have to slight them for doing so.

it's not bad, the Chocolate Pancakes was a solid choice, but there shoulda been a bit of Whipped cream for the Chest Fluff and Raspberry Sauce for the Red in his hair. Chocolate and Raspberry are said to vibe, so i think they coulda done better.

Yeah, the biggest problem with these collaborations that IHOP does with other properties is that the dishes are something that was already available on their menu just with a character attached to it. Nothing really all that special, although I do remember the Illumination Grinch movie tie-in they had a few years back was actually fun to get since the theming of the food was far better.

I can tell you from experience, Denny's did a WAY better Sonic promotion, back in '99. It was for Sonic Underground of all things. They had a HUGE cutout display, ceiling displays and, best of all, plushies of Sonic and Knuckles. I still have, said plushies.

Props to you for overcoming your embarrassment to film in public! Definitely liked the change of pace with this field trip video (and honestly I may try the Dr. Eggman meal because of this). If I may make a suggestion for a future video, my younger brother and I recently found and tried these breakfast themed Cup Noodles (sausage, egg and pancakes flavor, and an everything bagel with cream cheese flavor). The whole time I was going "wow this is just like PGB..." In any case, it could be a fun idea to find and try other weird flavors of Cup Noodles (and other ramen brands)!

I think Shadows Chaos Chocolate Pancakes was suppose to be a play on Chaos Control (Pancakes). The highlighted word of u͟l͟t͟i͟m͟a͟t͟e͟ is in Battle 2, he says "This is the Ultimate" a few times. Overall word play is possibly stretched but didn't feel too out of place lmao

The confusing thing about the Shadow one is that's a regular menu item. I've gotten double chocolate chip pancakes every time I've gone to an ihop. It came with my breakfast platter. Unsure if they discontinued the pancakes as it's been a while since I visited an IHOP, but kinda strange they rebranded the double chocolate pancakes as Shadow related.

hollandaise is just butter mayonnaise. Mayo is an emulsion of egg yolks and neutral oil, usually with Dijon mustard or garlic to help with the emulsification. hollandaise is an emulsion of egg yolks and melted butter, flavored with lemon juice.
