We worked hard on this video, it's the result of 3 months worth of nonstop work. So please give a big thank you to all the members on my team for helping me make this video happen. It's been a big dream of mine to do pokemon nuzlockes for youtube, and I would watch them all the time even before I had my own channel. Fun Fact! A guy decided to play Pokèmon version Ruby, and he set some rules to make it harder. These rules were, you can only catch the first Pokèmon you find in each route, and once the Pokèmon dies, you can't use it anymore. Along with this playthrough the guy made a comic called Ruby: Hard Mode. That was about the run where the player and the Pokèmon had their own personality, the guy caught a Seedot and drew it like John Locke from a TV series called lost. The Seedot then evolved into a Nuzleaf, creating the word, Nuzlocke.

I just... love how well Jaiden’s animation style brings something like a Nuzlocke to life. It’s something that’s implied when you’re playing the game, but rendered this way? Each death cuts so much deeper.
