This lot is underappreciated. People should turn it into a residential lot more often :D The idea of this rooftop bar-swimming pool with almost no fencing is horrifying though. Imagine slipping on the water and falling down 100 stories.

I feel like city living in general does not get enough love when it comes to trying to make non-residential lots tbh. I wish more people would build rooftop restaurants, nightclubs, etc.

@@ByrdCamp Ooooh a library is a good idea. I think I wanna make a community space where the Old Salt House is, maybe turn the penthouse in the art district into a library, keep stargazer as a lounge but maybe make the 3 floor spire place a fancy restaurant.

I renovated this lot a couple weeks ago and turned it into a bowling lounge while also keeping the bar and karaoke set. It worked so well and i don't feel bad at all for those non-existent sims living in those apartments downstairs while bowling night is going on

I think this build is absolutely beautiful. I don't like bright colors very often, but the mint just works for a bougie nightclub. I'm definitely using this. Also, I feel for Kayla and her family losing a pet. We all grieve in different ways and I hope she finds comfort wherever she can, even if it means distracting yourself with building. I appreciate her even doing so at such a difficult time. 💚

I actually unironically, love the glow cube. And knowing how far out of simsie’s comfort zone this whole build was, I think she did a really good job. Very cool. I would totally visit this club.

This build has strong Florida vibes. I'm reminded of a Miami club which had lounge chairs in a wading pool right off the beach. I have used the glow cube, it was a Tron themed club I put in Windenburg right in the middle of the historic district and it had the glow sphere from MWS too.

Build aside, I really hope that you get better after the loss of your pet. Some months ago one of my pets died and it was an extremely hard time for me, so I understand what you're going through. May glowing cubes brighten up these dark times that you're going through!

As far as wall speakers go, I always use the spa day ones because they match more swatches of wallpapers and paneling.

I usually avoid building with anything near aqua because it's so hard to make the colors match, but this actually matched really, really well and I think it's beautiful. And I think it's a great color for a business with a swimming pool and big sky.

This was scheduled to go up the day simmers got early access for the home chef pack, which she didn't know they were getting. So the early access video went up, as well as this one because she forgot to take it off the schedule to unprivate. Shortly after, she re-privated it so no one could see it even if they got the notification.

love the Glow Cube Bar, it has such a different vibe with the bright blue and white color scheme lol i also lost my cat recently and the day we picked up her ashes was bizarre. its a really weird thing to experience on top of an already horrible situation. i hope you and your family feel better/get through this period alright

I think the genuine reason the glow cube exists is that the Sims 2 Nightlife also had glow cubes. The cubes there were intended to be part of a nightclub set. They matched with dancefloors and lights that could be set to change colour in different sequences. The Sims 2 pre-built clubs would usually just stack them as decoration framing DJ booths and bars.

I genuinely love this and the only thing i'd add is a fun ceiling!! I was fixing up the karaoke bar over in the spice district a few days ago, and I had an epiphany that the stupid glowing tile from spa day is PERFECT as a ceiling tile for some of these club style lounges and bars. it enhances the vibes but you can't see it too much. it's GREAT

I once made a build using 74 of those cubes to make a dance floor like the one in Club Penguin. The cubes were placed in the basement and then raised to stick through the floor so sims could walk on them.

This turned out beautifully! The view from the lot, however, is terrifying! As playing in the venue was causing my game to lag, I removed some sofas and glow cubes and tables and chairs...but I did add a telescope! :)

I lost literally just a hamster last summer and it broke me. Animals mean the world. I hope your little void babies have been helping ease the hurt with their chaotic little fuzzy brained way

I went to an arcade bar last night and they had glow cubes! They served as chairs, and were black with red glowing lights instead of blue. I wanted to say something about it all night, but no one I was with is obsessed with the sims like I am so they wouldn’t understand lol
