no, but sometimes by accident i have a lot of babies lol i wrote a comment about it already, but a huge game changer is a refrigerated display case from get to work, you put food in there and sims, including toddlers, grab a serving whenever they are hungry. you could put it in the hall instead of one of the cribs!

@@sydmac another music related one would be for when wrapped season comes around, you get a number generator and sort a song from your wrapped playlist for each room! i did it and it was one of the most fun challenges i've ever done

You should do a build where each room is a different book genre (ex: romance, horror, mystery, fantasy, thriller, comedy, history, poetry, etc) 😊 maybe it would be fun?? Love your videos btw!! ❤️

This build really makes me want to try the 100 Baby Challenge again, but I don't have any experience with infants yet (my sim is about to give birth) so... I think I should probably practice a little first 😂

I'm taking a break from my 100 baby challenge to do the Occult baby challenge because 1. to switch it up a bit but mainly 2. to practice with infants in a fresh save and a smaller scale since I won't need to have as many children.

Very nice! Side note you can use a speaker with lullabies playing to soothe infants to sleep. Lol poor moms are so under appreciated

Love that you kept it fairly small. When I did the baby challenge, I discovered that the key was actually to have a relatively small space, that was highly efficient! 🤓 I had different 'wings' of the house for babies/toddlers and children/teens. Mammas bedroom next to the toddler wing. Child/teen section close to the front. This minimised 'travel time', because sims take forever to walk around. I would also lock sections of the house, so only the mother could care for the toddlers, and the children/teens had no life, lol.

Newborns cannot be aged up until you get a notification saying that it is their birthday. Infants can be aged up once they’ve tried all the different baby foods. They do not have to like all of them. Infants must age up with either the Happy Infant or Top-Notch Infant traits so make sure you have been extremely attentive to them before you age them up. Toddlers can be aged up when they reach level 3 in all toddler skills. Children and teenagers can be aged up when they get an A in school. Talk about a headache

I don’t think the baby food thing is a good idea because there’s a glitch where they try them all but the system will show it that they haven’t tried any of them.

Love this! Infants was hard for me! My sim has her infant son and he drives her mad. I left my desk and came back to the game I saw her in the living room crying her and her son 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and to top that she had a new born 3 days prior . Every time she woohoo her husband wants to try for a baby! Every time he asks I turn him down immediately !!!

everyone, life hack that is incredibly helpful with toddlers especially but makes life easier in general: get to work has this kind of refrigerated display case. once you put your food in there, it's kept fresh just like in the fridge, but sims can autonomously grab a serving from there!! i always put it in my toddler rooms or just outside it. Sims grab a serving whenever they are hungry and you don't need to worry about toddlers being whisked away because of hunger or food going bad if you forget it on a counter etc. it is a life changer

I did the 7 infant. Kyle earned his stay over, and then 2 roommates helped out too… pretty certain unless you have a sim who just straight doesn’t need to worry about her own needs ever, it’s just not possible alone 😂

Thanks for this beautiful build Syd!!! I’m always fearful of the pools, cuz you know they wanna swim when it’s cold then freeze to death 😬 I haven’t played my 100 baby household since the update. Ngl all the gameplay I’ve seen has me rethink playing them lol. I’m so close to completing the challenge and my girl has money saved, so I’ll move her in and update you ☺️ 🤞🏽

I actually started the 100 baby challange before the infants but my second matriarc hasn't start yet to have babies, soooo I'm ready lol The house is gorgeous, the only thing I would like to point out is that the master bedroom might not support 2 sims to use the bed and that is basically where all those babies are gonna be made lol

Syd, I thought of a fun challenge I’d love to see you try. The Default to Not challenge. It’s similar to the coloring book challenge. You make a house, wall paper, furnishing, flooring based ONLY off the default swatch. You can not look at any other swatches as you make the build. After you are done with everything, you cannot change any items or placement and you must change every item to the last swatch. Including wallpaper, lights, windows, doors and flooring. 😇 Hard mode could be including landscaping since I love you that much 😇

Awesome build, as usual. Minor recommendations for 100 baby challenge - infants, newborns and toddlers should be on main floor (takes forever to bring them up and down stairs). I’d also always add the toddler slide and the play tent (both items are OP for increasing toddler levels)
