How to make a stunning walnut and black epoxy coffee table from start to finish with narration the whole time. This is a diy walnut coffee table. I show you how to prepare the wood slabs, make a mold, mix and pour the epoxy, finish the table with rubio monocoat, sanding, and welding custom steel coffee table legs.

I watch tons of DIYers, and this table is as good as professionals who only make epoxy tables for a living. The design is absolutely perfect - and not gaudy like a lot of those other epoxy tables I see. Fantastic job.

Right. The flashy colors can be done in thr right pieces, but generally not a dining table. It makes it instantly look kind of trashy when 1 shade different and it looks stunning

Being a pro or not isn't important. And for someone who says he's not a pro, it looks pretty good. And I've learned if someone doesn't make any mistake, he/she wouldn't learn anything. By making mistakes, anyone will learn how to prevent that mistakes the next time. And whet he/she can do, to make his/her work (a little) better.

Hello Drew, I’m a woodworker and I did associate with what you mentioned about the metal work. Last year I picked up an old Lincoln stick welder and started practicing my beads. They were horrible but I was able to stick two pieces of metal together. It looks to me like you did a good job on your welds, the table with the epoxy and metal legs turned out really well. Great job and thanks for sharing with the rest of us. Matt

That trick with tipping the bucket like a you would a cup to pour a beer into it is great, I don’t do full epxy tables so would have not know to do that. Again great tip, and great video yes to the thinner translucent black looks great.
