Y’know, if you build a bamboo farm you can pipe the bamboo directly into the furnaces. Bamboo burns fast, but it is also fast growing. No need for smokers or bundling kelp into blocks. Totally automatic.

Great video! Each cauldron needs a lava source above it to fill. Flowing lava will have some particle effect, but it won't fill a cauldron if it's not a source. Stalactites with a lava source above them will also have a greater particle effect and the drips will appear in the bottom of the cauldron.

Youve been using bricks a lot and i know you always want to add some texture so i was going to suggest you add in granite in the mix with bricks. Even without thr polished stuff it looks nice with bricks

Love your videos Paul! I just wish they were a bit longer episodes but I’ll take anything I can get lol I just feel like in your old series, you would walk around the base, improve things here and there, maybe go on an adventure, and also build something. Now it feels like you’re rushing to get something done real quick and that’s it… you’re one of my favorite UKpostsrs, I just hope whatever changed will run it’s course and you’ll be back to your usual self..

You can use the dirty water from a swamp as a waste waterfall and maybe mix some slime blocks in there

Yeah bamboo is by far the superior fuel source. With the same sized farm you could have more bamboo than you would ever need and it could be 100% automatic. The current farm is just giving you more chores to do, putting bamboo with a single chest to hold the fuel would have given you so much bamboo that you never have to do anything with the fuel of the smelter again.

The lava filled up faster because of random tick speed. Thankfully doesn't have anything to do with the closeness of the cauldron to the dripstone.

You need to use source blocks of lava for your lava farm, otherwise it just looks like it’s working.

Try one big pipe for that green slime decor idea Paul! Might be the sort of thing that needs to be bigger so you can have a bit more detail in it so it’s easier to identify :)

if you want to randomize brick, granite variants are good alternatives to add texture. with a few iron bars or vines you can make factories look run down :)

I think you can put dispencers with empty buckets, observers, and hoppers to make the lava farm automated, i cant think of ever seeing anyone do it but i dont see why it wouldnt work

I'm afraid you need a LOT more kelp to keep this super smelter going. For cooking a lot of blocks it is good fuel, but for smaller quantities (which is more like this mini super smelter), I'd prefer bamboo.

I think Bradley is a great name! Also I beleve you can make the kelp for into a zero tick farm, it produces at a much faster rate, would highly recommend converting into the zero tick farm, it has been a great addition to all my worlds

I don't think the rates from that kelp farm would be enough to power a super smelter in any sort of timely manner. When I build kelp farms in my own world I have a large basin filled with kelp and a flying machine that activates after a long hopper clock to harvest the kelp which will then float up into a current and into the collection system. I believe the design came from ilmango but I can't remember because I built it a long time ago.

Kelp is an Okay fuel source; You only net like 11 extra smelts with it, and you have to craft it, so it's not the best by any means. A large automatic bamboo farm would be good or even blaze rods if you have a farm for them (coal if you make a wither skele farm)

Hey Paul! Love your stuff! I small suggestion to help out your builds. Why don’t you build the farm first, then build the building around it? That way you don’t have to worry about not having enough space
