The cousin of BJJ. Since the japanese guy who inttroduced judo to Brasil training the Gracies was from the same school of the japanese who took judo to russia inn a time when japan were sending people arround the world to teach japanese martial arts. In brasil they focused on fighting on the ground and it became BJJ, while in russia they mixted it with mongolian Wrestling and it became Sambo. Also BJJ was meant to be a self defense art while sambo at the time was for the military, the opposite of self defense, and that is why they always focus on staying stand or being on top as seen in thee video.
