perhaps the greatest athletic display I've ever seen on the internet, and that is saying a lot. Every athletic performance ois a combination of power, skill, and psychology, definitely *not* in that particular order. In ping pong, power is very important, but completely subordinate to the other two. The mental and fine motor control here is so staggering that it boggles the mind to watch. Lily coming back (or, I guess, surviving) from several match points by hitting with such velocity to just a few millimeters' margin of error is just unbelievable. Both are incredible. Yes, I was rooting for her to win, based on the tenacity and psychological control added to the skill level on which they were both pretty comparable. Painful to see her fight so hard and not prevail; but kudos to both, who are truly amazing.

I love the way she jumps when she smashes it. :) she seems like a fun person to play with. Plus she's on the top of the game. Heck yeah! I like her!
