Man I tell ya, them “tablespoons” looking like cups.

I've watched four or five of these "KFC at home" videos, and what has surprised me the most is how wildly different they are.

You blend the spices into 2 cups of flour. And for the liquid bath It's 1 cup of buttermilk and 1 egg. I've done it and it is spot on. My family was convinced is was KFC.

I know how to make KFC'S gravy!! It might even taste a little better too lol. Ingredients: 1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder,1 tbsp beef bouillon powder,2 tbsp butter,2 tbsp flour,2 to 3 cups water. The trick is to make the roux (flour & butter) really tan before adding the other ingredients. You're welcome! ❤💃

This is the BEST fried chicken recipe I have ever tried at home. I have KFC in my town, 15 minutes drive from my house. Usually, the KFC chicken loses its crispiness in the box when I return from the store to home. But from now on, I can eat like just made KFC crispy chicken whenever I want to eat it at home. Looks good. You should try doing the same prep and seasoning but instead of deep frying it do it in an air fryer with some minimal oil maybe sprayed. I wonder how that would go. I might try that.

Great job and your take on it. Ya know, marinating original recipe chicken isnt buttermilk or dry seasoning. But thats a secret. For hot n spicy marinating with buttermilk is correct. I use to work for a chick factory that supplies h n s wings. I have reversed engineered the kfc secret.
