one of the big reason why i love watching your videos and esp ones like this is it proves you actually took the time to integrate into living in japan and don't live in a foreigner bubble with maybe one whacky token Japanese friend like 99% of foreigners seemingly do it just feels authentic

@cnhnx

If you mean other foreign youtubers living in Japan, consider that we don't see their personal life off camera. You can't really say they don't integrate or interact with their Japanese friends or neighbors. Maybe they have a lot of Japanese friends but said friends aren't comfortable to appear on videos. It's like how we never see people in Alexi's personal life either, only those in car communities that'd love to show their stuff on camera.

@C-M-E 8 місяців тому
The Suzuki Samurai's in the US in the late 80s/early 90s were the best thing we ever got but were sadly short-lived imports. I wanted one so bad but they were always roached by the previous owners or someone had yanked the original engine and thought it cool to put a Jeep straight 6 or lump a 283 V8 for 'more power' (pretty much a wash on that end due to the increased weight). They also had the notorious roll-over warning stickers that pretty much killed public interest, but they remained very capable in stock guise.

It’s interesting to see so many Jimnys in this video, since they are very rare in the U.S. nowadays. I live in L.A., where most off-road trucks are Jeeps, broncos, tacomas, and 4 runners/ land cruisers, so it’s nice to see a different style of off-road community. Nice vid 😊
