7:50 Ah yes, the Polish method of road construction. If you skid off the road a tree will stop you from flying into some farmer's field. Yeah I know it's April's Fools but that's something that always bothered me about road construction over there, they planted a bunch of trees around roads to give shade back when horse drawn carriage was the main method of transportation and every turn has a memorial on it for someone that skidded out and hit a tree.

The only thing that annoys me about "architect" is being in construction my first thought is "great, he's gonna say something that has ZERO way to make it actually work and function" Like... how are we supposed to put a chandelier in the middle of a vaulted ceiling that has an odd number of FAKE beams that give no support, while putting a giant light sconce on ONE wall but not the other, WHILE ALSO NOT WANTING THE CHANDELIER CHAIN VISIBLE THROUGH THE TRANSOM WINDOW OVER THE DOOR?! Architects are artists... they keep putting things on paper that doesn't exist

Lol. Yes architects are artists. Totally. But if they work with good engineers and developers / investors don't screw with their vision too much, you can get much more beautiful and pleasant places. There's entire cities in this world designed by engineers and developers and they're freaking ugly, unpleasant places. A good architect understands the practical issues too.

I hope you know decoration isnt the only thing architects go for. They did go like that only in the Rococo period. After that it was ONLY functionality. Yes some today's famous architects usually focus on aesthetics, but most architects follow the principiles from the architects of last century, which was functionality. (I know its April fools, but RCE discriminates architects in almost every video)
