I’ve never enjoyed mowing or weed eating, although I love gardening. But I, too, find these kinds of videos - where kind-hearted people use their time, energy, tools, skills, as well as their compassion - incredibly inspiring and entrancing. I am fully cognizant that he is getting some compensation via social media advertising and the exposure (and experience), but it doesn’t measure up to what he is doing for the people he’s helping out. Kudos to people who (whether anonymously or for clicks) bother to help others when they don’t have to. 👏👏👏 🙏❤️

So true about people being lonely. If you don't see a neighbor for awhile, knock on the door to make sure either they or everything is alright. They may be depressed, hurt or ill..Sometimes lonely people just need a kind person to talk to, help out or run an errand. Kindness, Thoughtfulness and Respect doesn't cost anything. Pamela, I’m disabled and depending on how good or bad I am on the day decides if I need one of the more front bus seats. A particular route I have to do there and back ten minutes later feels like hours 😂 Because of the time coming back elderly people can use their free pass. By that time I’ve been up very early, I hurt and I just want to sit & read. But I make myself talk to the elderly people, so many times they’ve thanked me for the chat and often say they don’t get to speak to many people 😢. Others have told me I was the first person in days! I always thank them for the chat too. Sometimes, when I just want to get on my next bus, come home and have a nap I’ve asked if they’d like to come to a cafe. I used to teach a craft class to 12 elderly ladies, it was great, like having 12 grandmas, though I’d get a playful slap for being cheeky 😂 one with severe dementia would tap out bottoms and tell us we were beautiful and glamorous! Who could complain about that 😂 x

That's lovely. I'm sure she remembers when the ice truck made deliveries. My late Dad would be 84 this year, and he remembered hot summer treats when the ice man made his delivery to their house. He said the kids all sat quietly on the porch so as not to be in the way, and they were super respectful to the delivery man... because if he was in a good mood, he'd give each of the kids the chips that fell off the blocks of ice. I mention that because it's one of the things people used to watch in those days before television -- just watching the deliveries, and the new machines doing work in the city, or on the farms. May God bless you for honoring your mother as He commands.

why would you move to UK? just curious, there ain't nothin interestin there... maybe you should've moved to NYC, Florida, California .. there are many interesting places in the beautiful country of ours, you ain't gotta move all the way to Europe :o but aigtt, ain't my business, maybe work related, family, people got reasons so aight. but it's kinda ... funny that you "gather" to watch a guy mowing grass for an hour. just like I said, today you can make any kind of videos. people record themselves goin to Walmart and somehow get millions of views on those videos and glorify the channel owner for literally EVERYTHIN in the comments 🤦🏻‍♀️ what kind of times do we live in, honestly? some random can become "popular" among a certain circle of people, usually teens, who take selfies and autographs from them. like wtf. an autograph from a UKpostsr? for recording some dumb vlogs and challenges and tryin to be "funny" and "relatable" in em? and they go on tv, slap some books(that somebody wrote for them. and what is actually scary is that they sometimes "write" books on subjects they literally have NO IDEA about, they got no competences, nothin. many of them are school dropouts even, just to record videos on UKposts tictoc and take "cute selfies" for Instagram and this is apparently considered "a job" nowadays, and teens think they are "famous' and deserve praise just for bein there and making videos for money... again, WHAT TIMES DO WE LIVE IN????????????????? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ you gotta admit, praisin somebody for nowin grass IS kind of weird. but oh wait, he "helps" people in need, for free, just to get more views and likes and subs so the sheep's think your such a good person, doin it for free, not knowin they do it for money... maybe I should record when I open the door for an elder person, imma have millions of people praising me for how much of an angel I am :D or for stoppin at a stop sign. or helping my mom do laundry. or cleanin the toilet after taking a shit at somebody's house, because that's such a kind thing to do... 🤦🏻‍♀️ YES, I saw comments who literally praised people for opening a door for somebody :D and praisin them for their sexuality, race, for everythin. and become soooo protective over their privacy. all of them full grown-ass adults who know EXACTLY what they do and say on videos and articles(they write articles and do interviews with UKpostsrs... 🤦🏻‍♀️and they go on some tours, duck knows what to do in there. just so they can milk teenagers who think they are some celebrities for $400 per ticket I guess. and what is also scary, is people ACTUALLY LAY THEM THIS SHITLOAD OF MONEY, JUST TO SEE THEM. some randoms from the internet... like... I don't... ah, no further comment

Wow, nothing interesting to see in the UK?! Please! Have you EVER traveled outside of your own little county? I’m sorry, but that sounds a bit ignorant, as if it’s even your business, to begin with! Of course, you are entitled to your own opinion, as is everyone, but you say it in a very condescending manner. Most of us have roots there, if we go back far enough. But, what about Stonehenge, Bath, Canterbury, Shakespeare, all the wonderful literary giants & poets from UK, etc, etc? I could go on & on. London is one of the most interesting cities in the world. I never get tired of it. I think it’s mostly very civilized there, with so much rich history. We are babes in the woods here in US, just toddlers, compared to European cultures, and we can always learn from their history & from one another. Just give it a thought. As St. Augustine said, "The World is a book and those who do not travel read only one page." Peace.

@@jillianferguson4202 yes, I've been there. in fact, one of my biological family members(that I also very much despise, I was put in foster care because of them as a kid)so I've been there a few times. London is about as interestin' as every other city, in my opinion, there are places that are beautiful and places that are ugly and poor, just like everywhere else. it has history, like every other city in the world. and I said that in the way I did because I despite Brits and their weird, elaborate accents and the love to say -ah instead or "R". my own little country? lol, the whole Britain is the size of my both home and state and the one I live in right now. and there are 50 of 'em 🤣 my little country takes up more than half of the whole continent, while theirs is barely visible on the map, only when you have a magnifyin' glass and know exactly where to look. and Europe is more civilized? wow. so I guess it's fishnchippers who send most rockets into space and landed in the moon? I've never felt more civilized there, on the contrary - it felt like I went back in time tbh... but maybe it's just my arrogance and spiteful manner(that you noticed) talkin. in my opinion it is way less civilized than even my home state of Wisconsin and my hometown of 1000 in population. and that fuckin obsession with royal family, that is a shitshow in the exact same manner our Kardashians are, just to the bigger extent there. but they are fundin' all of this outta taxpayers money and the only difference is they don't show off their fake asses, just super-lavish lives in the medieval stylistic. the opinion that we are "toddlers" compared to them is kinda funny, coz it's more like the very other way around. they wanted to make us their colony, but didn't think we'd break outta it and become about a hundred times bigger and powerful than them(Brits, not the fuckin' royals, to be clear)...

One of her neighbors keeps complaining when she sets things on her driveway until she can take them in to the rag and metal place. It's almost as if they don't want her to clean up the back yard! It's not as tho she just leaves the metal on the driveway forever! Now she has the township on her neck all the time whenever there's stuff on the drive! She's on a short dead-end road so it's not like it's a public eyesore! Some people only think of themselves and don't care if someone is trying to get a huge job done.

Just by stopping and talking to this guy, you made his day. Sometimes the only interaction some folks get is just going to the store, and the staff isn't always friendly( I know I used to work retail). Example. We had a customer whom seemed rough tempered and no one else liked dealing with her because of it. So I found out what her name was, went out of my way just to walk up and say " Good afternoon Marge how are you today and is there anything I can help you with?" And that's all it took to make an old lady( widow that lived alone) smile ear to ear. ( and she never smiled before) After that it was like I gained an Aunt. She went out of her way just to say Hi if I was there that day (grocery store). A little kindness is all it takes to make lonely folks happy. Kudos to you young man!

You’re lovely for doing that. It’s what I did working retail. I had an elderly man come 8n once, I asked him how he was and he said I didn’t really want to know, that I asked because I was told to ask. I stopped what I was doing and said, “nope. If you want to tell me, I really want to hear. Most people don’t care to talk any more.” So me and Robert, 74, talked for about 10 minutes. I was the supervisor of soft-lines at the time, for AAFES at the base I worked at. He, evidently, was a profiler or knew how to…

Honestly, put yourself in the shoes of an elder living alone. You can no longer drive or walk to a grocery store or a pharmacy. You depend on Meals on Wheels to bring your food. The pharmacy mails you your prescriptions. Your only conversation now is with your son who lives 2 states away and might call you on the weekend. Mostly, you're OK but imagine the joy when a man knocks on your door and says, "May I mow your lawn?"
