Actually, this is incorrect. NASA uses the Pleiades supercomputer for their operations. Pleiades has a memory of 926 terabytes and a storage of 29 petabytes (29,000 terabytes). It also has over 200,000 Intel Xeon processors to go along with its peak speed of 7.09 petaflops (flops are floating point operations per second, giving it 7,090,000,000,000 flops). Not to mention when in November of 2019 Pleiades ranked 32nd among the world’s 500 most powerful non-distributed computers. I also doubt that NASA couldn’t get it’s hand on a few 3090’s. Respectfully, my friend, I disagree with you. NASA’s supercomputer is far superior to your pc, however yours is certainly no pipsqueak.
