I think the best thing about this is that the sharks aren’t immediately hostile! That’s a huge misconception about sharks irl, and has lead to the widely spread idea that sharks are aggressive and angry predators. This has lead to huge numbers of shark deaths due to people hunting them for sport because they think they’re mean. The majority of shark attacks are actually mistakes (i.e. sharks thinking surfers are sea lions, or experimentally bumping swimmers to see what they are) and you’re more likely to be struck by lighting than attacked by a shark! So thank you SysZee for not contributing to this harmful idea about sharks!

For the sharks, adding in that they don't attack or go near players in Iron armor would be a cool touch. The metal causes interference with their 6th sense, so it deters them to a degree. Think of it like wearing gold armor for piglins.

4:15 I would suggest maybe making sharks having a sort of "aggression meter". Most sharks in the real world only attack humans, not due to blood, but due to the fact that swimming humans look like seals in the sharks' limited vison. Essentially, when you're not moving and just sinking in water, sharks don't bother you, when you're moving without sprinting above or below the surface, sharks might attack you, however, when sprinting in water, sharks have a decently high chance of attacking you. The more you move, the higher the chances of you getting attacked.

Honestly this would make a good Minecraft Oceans update, just rework some attacks, do something to the shark (perhaps a reskin that's bone shark that has plant growth on it and bits of rotted flesh on it, and would occur if a shark spawned near a shipwreck, or something else,) add a new biome and/or a few new blocks and it'd be a decently good update

I like sharks only attacking when you're "bleeding" but I personally think adding a frenzy mode would work very well too. If multiple dolphins, fish, drowned etc are nearby, the shark will begin to attack, prioritizing them first and attacking everything else after (BTW could you release this as a mod?)

The cyclone is good on it's own, but let's make it that you can only hit the eye in the middle of its mouth with any weapon (custom weapons, projectiles, melees, bombs, etc.) when it's dragging you in and then when you hit it, it lets you escape. You cannot hit the cyclone boss if it's mouth is closed or if you attack any other part of it's body.

I love the idea of this, and if Mojang were to add something like this, I would hope they would do it in different layers of the ocean, just like we have in real life, and the deeper you go the darker and more challenging it gets. That way, the cyclone or other hard mobs aren’t just in the surface water (or I guess daylight zone) making the game annoying and harder

The thing at 5:16 … if I saw that in the middle of the ocean in Minecraft….. I’m quitting-

this would probably be really hard to mod, but hear me out: if you defeat the boss thingy, you get a green power core (the thing you see in his mouth). You can find ruined portal-like things like on land, and you can activate them using the green power core. You get teleported into an underwater station in an ocean dimension. The station has chests which contain loot and also explorer armor which can let you breath underwater for a very very long time. If you get out of the station you get into an ocean (you can't get out, it's infinitely tall). You can find new ores which can be used to craft new armor, weapons, a pickaxe which lets you mine faster underwater and even an ocean staff which lets you shoot fish. Yes. And if you run out of breath you can find oxigen-refinn stations randomly around the ocean. You will probably not notice this, i just taught of it and wrote it down.

These mobs with the ones currently in the aquatic update would make the updates to the ocean a complete masterpiece! If only mojang added more dangerous mobs.

I love this! As much as I love the Aquatic update, I hope Mojang updates the oceans again. I’d love if the ocean had some challenges to it, also to add depths to it, sunlight, twilight and midnight zones. With each zone comes a different “mini boss” and more dangerous creatures. Personally for me the oceans are a breeze. And not all that interesting anymore. Let’s just hope Mojang does Part 2 of the aquatic update.

This is a missed opportunity to use the heart of the sea and give it cool lore to exist in the world. Having a conduit inspired thing would have looked really cool in the slime.

Ideas for the next “I coded your ideas in Minecraft…” 1. Make a spawn egg for every type of villager (as in job, nitwit, average, and baby 2. If you sneak/shift while using a spawn egg, the mob will turn into the baby version of itself. 3. Make an Eye of Ender for the Ancient City (1.19). I’m thinking instead of hoeing sculk blocks and getting XP, you also get the block itself (just pure sculk and the path thing). It’s crafted with eight sculk blocks on the outer slots, and an Eye of Ender in the middle. Call it the Eye of Sculk or something. 4. Some people realized this inconvenience where if you die with a Recovery Compass in your hot bar, the item gets dropped too. Well, unless you have keep inventory on. So I’m thinking, keep inventory, on or off, the Recovery Compass will stay. Unless you put in any type of storage unit or throw it away, of COURSE, it’s optional. 5. Liquified TNT. TNT, but it explodes in water. Crafted with Water Buckets on the outer slots and TNT in the middle slot. Retextured TNT with the red parts being cyan. 6. Liquified Torch. If you read five, you’ll know what I’m talking about. A Torch, but it can be placed in water. Crafted with Water Buckets on the outer slots and a torch in the middle slot. A retextured Torch with the fire parts being cyan. Also, people might confuse this with the Soul Torch, so take away the smoke particles. 7. Re-add fireflies. Two glowing pixels that fly around randomly, how hard could it be? If you bottle some up, you get an item called Bottled Firefly. Used to breed frogs. 8. If you name a Warden “William”, (look at The Secrets of Minecraft for context), it’ll have a glowing effect but won’t light up anything around it, have a bright blue bow tie on its neck, a cane in its hand, and the frown is turned upside down. It’ll still attack you it’s just retextured. We don’t want you 31 iron ingots and a loot chest away from making THE MOST POWERFUL MOB IN THE GAME passive! 9. Make it so that when you hold a light source, the area around you (four blocks) lights up. Including Bottled Fireflies, Torches, Lanterns, Jack o’ Lantern, Vex spawn egg- wait what AAAAHH- 10. Add pyrite (fool’s gold). Can be found in the Nether and Overworld. Has the same texture in ore form, but in nugget, ingot, and block form, it’s slightly darker. Can’t craft tools or armor. 11. Make a locked chest. Crafted with iron ingots in the edge slots, and a chest in the middle. When first placed, the placer will choose a password, and other players will have to know the password to gain access to the chest. Add the feature to every other type of storage unit, as well. 12. Add the “trapped” feature to all other types of storage units. Crafted the same as a trapped chest. 13. Automatic Crafting Tables. Crafting tables with four pieces of Redstone Dust making a rhombus around the Crafting Table. When clicked, it’ll just be like an average crafting table, but with an extra slot! Not for crafting, not to take your crafted item, but to choose the specific item you want to craft. Just place anything craftable in that slot, place a hopper above it, a storage unit above the hopper, place the materials required in the chest, watch the items flow away into the Crafting Table, and get your well-deserved diamond armor. 14. Add a spleef block, that has the size of a chest, but the texture of a grass block. Can be found in any biome with grass. 15. Make a mob called jared. After ten seconds, jared will spawn, plus he’s name tagged so he won’t despawn and he doesn’t take damage. Has no arms, is yellow has a smiley face a five-year-old would draw, and wears a mariachi hat. In chat, he’ll say stuff like, “Do you wanna play?” “Let’s have a sleepover!” “Invite your friends for FUN, FUN, FUN!” “How many potatoes will we eat? I like potatoes.” 16. If you take damage, doctors will come to you, the amount of doctors depends on how much damage you take. Mainly for annoying players if they’re reckless.

Something you should add to this mod, Sirens can add an effect called "Attraction" which can effect mobs and players equally the only way to undo the effect is to Craft "Mufflers" using sticks oak planks and Compacted wool which is crafted using a full crafting menu of wool. The siren drops "Mermaid scales" which you can put in a potion to tame mobs like Zombies, Skeletons, and even the Sirens themselves. It cannot work on the creeper or any floating mob like the ghast or phantom.

That sub was cool, but here’s an idea to make it cooler. Ad a 30 minute oxygen capacity before you start taking damage, turn one of the cannons into a claw and put a chest on the front to store objects, make it so you have the option of using the cannon as either a weapon or laser drill. Also a 120 block depth limit before it implodes and kills you instantly.

Actually, this would be great for a series! you have plenty of older videos without fully coded mobs, bosses, mechanics, etc! I would absolutely LOVE to see Geysor, Armorrock, and Nimbus as bosses, along with their biomes updated as well. I know, this is a lot to ask for, but seeing them in motion would be amazing.

you should make it so everytime u get attacked while in the submarine, it gets a tiny crack. And when it gets hurt too much the glass breaks and u can be attacked and drown, but since its a machine it should not be able to work anymore so u have to get out of it and get away on ur own C: just a suggestion

You did amazing work but you should make the ocean deeper so the surfer is more dangerous, the submarine is cooler to use and more practical, and the boss would be more deadly but a bit easier to escape. Just think it would be cool

The best mob would be huge electric eels that protect shipwrecks. They’re fast, they return damage if you use a iron weapon and the damage is doubled if you use a gold weapon or have gold on you in general, and they inflict poison that lasts for 2 seconds every attack. The perfect mob to scare you from the oceans

A harpoon crafted with 2 iron and leather could be used to shoot the inside of it's mouth for critical damage, but an Explosive Water Balloon works fine too!

I like your idea for implementing sharks into minecraft without them being hostile right of the bat and it makes a lot of sense for them to only attack you when you are bleeding or wounded because in real life sharks mainly attack if smelling blood and in Finding Nemo when dory bleeds Bruce the shark smells it and immediately turns aggressive to them good job Zee

You should make your own mod pack especially with new mobs that you have thought of and maybe you can make a series because that way we could see some of your creations come to life and if they were in the game with a huge update that would be really really cool and new weapons and armor as well

Here's an idea. If you were able to tame coral slime you could use it as protection underwater and it's works like a portable conduit. (For the mount pose you could go inside of the slime) Kinda like a cheap submarine

I would've loved the idea of using arrows in the water for the cyclone boss, because the boss would suck the player closer, meaning it could do the same with arrows, so it would suck them in and get damaged.

The shark should only attack once unless a player leaves a certain radius of the ocean and beach biomes but they do a lot of damage.

I could definately go for the sharks and even the cyclone if its really rare and only at rather deep levels. Perhaps find them when they are young and prevent them from becoming worse.

I really hope some of these ideas can end up on Origin Realms because they removed shipwrecks and Ocean Temples there so the Ocean Biome is currently quite boring and uninteresting.

You could add eels, sting rays (which would work like bees), and crabs for more shallow area dangers and if submarines exist than make some massive deep sea sharks, jellyfish, and other weird creatures like an anglerfish or blobfish lol.
