best way i ever heard marvel and dc explained was.....DC is about gods trying to live like humans.....Marvel is about humans with the power of the gods. you will live forever Mr Stan Lee....thank you for inspiring many.

Wow I have never had a video impact me so much. First time I watched it literally knocked off my feet, seriously started sobbing out loud and knees buckled ended up as a puddle on the floor. Been struggling with a lot of things in life, lost my dad few months ago and had written a eulogy a lot talking about how watching comic book movies and tv shows helped me through that and how I came to think of my dad as Superman and he did introduce me to them taking me to see Christopher Reeves in Superman perfect opening and closing of video. My partner did not have good relationship with his dad and has always told me how Stan Lee became father figure to him and how comics helped him get through tough parts of life too. Been feeling a little down on myself remembering mistakes in life and feeling like not "enough" so hearing Stan's voice and the words he had to share. Yeah it touched me. Wanted to share that so not just crazy person getting all emotional over UKposts video. I want to THANK YOU for sharing this!!!!

To all the true believers of both the Marvel and DC universes, and all the other fandoms.... We need heroes to show what we're capable of when we pay attention to the injustices before us, and decide to do something about it, in spite of the odds, and to show the world that heroes still exist, even in the smallest action... be it privatizing world peace, or simply listening to a person in need. In THAT we can ALL be heroes, simply by standing firm to what we know to be right. To my fellow true believers, In the word of Stan Lee...... Excelsior!!!!

My favorite super hero right now is The Green Arrow because of his archery skills. For the entire video I was so happy because I saw every hero I have ever seen and Stan talking about what a hero is made me understand even more what a hero is.

I feel heroic at heart my self I work with a team at a cleaning custodian I've inspired people and I've done phenomenal jobs there, I've helped lifted up other's spirits and empathize with their pains to strengthen them like other's done to me.I'm on the autistic spectrum and I feel like a super hero based on shit I've been through and enemies I had to fight with in order to survive truma in life.Stan Lee was absolutely right heros are not just powerful physical their strong and powerful mentally off beliefs and circumstances beyond nature.I get emotional at times like a kyrponite weakness but when I'm not weak forever nope cause I find inner light to embrace within me and shine it on...he spoke the truth on that, and that's inspiring too.

In response to being called a "Hero" Major USMC Gregory "Pappy" Boyington replied; "Show me anyone the call a hero and I will prove they are a bum.". Perhaps not true for all, however really brought home that "Heroes" are people after all.

The ironic thing is when it comes to the Movie Universe, BOTH DC and Marvel need a hero to save them. Michael Keaton is DC hero in the upcoming Flash movie, and Marvel is in a no win situation because they are wrapping up all of the originals Avengers characters, yet they do not produce any decent hero replacements. Yup both companies need help in the cinema universe indeed.
