i'm for the theory that the player action lead to chara going "bad" and erase everything. To me Chara is a bit neutral towards doing bad things, she wanted to kill humanity because they trapped the monsters. It's us, the player who show Chara the good side or the bad side of things, we guide them.

When you name the fallen human you name Chara Chara is short for character and is a placeholder character. If you were to delete any other characters in the game, they would reappear as “Chara”

Even after Asriel called her frisk, the character in the status still has the name that the player entered, that is, the name that the player entered and the fake one. And have you ever thought about when you say the name frisk? It was supposed to have an entire route in hard mode, that is, we could name it Chara, frisk and it would increase the difficulty, this almost proves that they are the same person, because Toby would allow us to name Chara frisk, so when If we were to do the pacifist, Asriel would know Chara's name which would be frisk, the route with the name frisk would perhaps address this, Asriel being reunited with his sister. @@raicklopes9134 that's a cool idea. But, unrelated, I should point out you're saying "she"? Chara and frisk have only even been referred to as "they" and we don't know their gender so calling them "she" is incorrect

@@Avesstudio I prefer to use just one term, but it was confirmed that there would be a hard route called frisk, so Toby actually put the two as the same person in the game. On the pacifist/hard route Asriel would call Chara frisk, he would say "so what about you, right? Frisk"
