- I cut off the sleeve from a knitted sweater and tried it on my leg. Everything fit perfectly, I didn’t even have to cut off the elastic. This sleeve will have a large pocket with compartments.
- The size is such that banknotes and a passport fit there. There will be a patch pocket on top for cards.
- I tore open the cut off sleeve.
- I stitched one side of the zipper to the top of the pocket.
- I cut out another pocket and sewed a flap for it. I stitched it to the main pocket, did not tuck the fabric, but stitched it with a zigzag so that the thickness was as small as possible.
- I attached a button to the valve. You can make a loop and sew on a button.
- I stitched the pocket to the sleeve, then made a vertical seam inside to create two compartments.
- I stitched the seam on the sleeve, turned the upper part and stitched it with a zigzag.
- I didn’t take into account that the zipper pulled this wallet down, I had to sew elastic bands at the back, now everything is fine.
- If you sew such a device for yourself, place the zipper on the pocket vertically in the middle of the pocket.
Now I calmly go on vacation, everything valuable is with me, I feel a precious touch.
2) Never keep all your money in one place, it’s better to hide it in different places and don’t take out a bundle in front of everyone, thieves don’t sleep.
I propose to sew a small handbag with an armlet, which will help you keep money with you and still feel it on your wrists.
- For the product you will need fabric that stretches well and at the same time sits tightly on the sleeve. T-shirt jersey or something similar will do.
The height is approximately 18-20 cm, and the width should be measured on your hand so that it is not tight and at the same time not loose.
- You will also need lightning. It should be shortened in length so that it becomes slightly smaller than a cuff folded in half.
- First I stitched one part of the zipper, then the other.
- Then I finished the line to the end.
- I folded the cuff and stitched it in a circle. I pulled it out through the open zipper.
- I thought that the zipper, as intended, would be located along the length of the seam, but it turned out to be across the cuff, just like the seam.
- In principle, you can wear it like that. Money and keys fit perfectly inside the pocket.
- Then, after all, I ripped the seam open, folded the cuffs, the zipper is along the arm, and sewed the seam up by hand.
Now everything is as intended: the zipper opens and closes, the entire cuff is a solid pocket, you don’t have to worry about anything, everything is under control.
