1) I sewed a summer blouse for only 225 rubles using a pattern from the 70s. This style is back in fashion.
Everything new is well forgotten old.
Despite the statute of limitations, this style has not lost its popularity over the years. Whatever your size, the blouse can be easily increased or decreased. You need to take the appropriate piece of fabric.
Any fabric is suitable, cambric, chiffon, staple, silk, linen, poplin... But it is preferable to take natural fibers.
But a little fabric is required. With a width of 1.50 m, you need to cut a rectangle of 0.70x1.15 m, plus 10-15 cm for the belts. 90 centimeters is enough for sewing. The original style was short to the waist, but I added length.
I cut out a rectangle for myself, 0.75 x 1.20 m, a little larger, since I am 1.70 m tall.
Sewing a blouse is very easy. There is no need to make darts, shoulder or side seams. The entire design is held in place by ties at the waist.
You only need to cut the neck. To do this, I folded the fabric in four and marked 10 cm marks in the middle. In principle, the neckline can be any - oval, square, boat, V-shaped.
Treatment:
- I overlocked the edge of the fabric with an overlocker, turned it up 1 cm and stitched.
- I sewed the neckline with a zigzag stitch on a sewing machine. I folded it 5 mm and sewed a stitch along the edge.
- I made the ties narrow on one side, wider on the other, their length was 60 cm, stitched along the waist line.
How to wear:
Stick your head into the neck. Narrow ties on the back side, tie them in front under the front fabric.
Tie wide ties at the back over the blouse. The resulting blouse emphasizes the waist, small sleeves fall off the shoulders.
You can experiment and tie everything backwards, with a wide bow in the front.
This blouse will go well with jeans, a narrow skirt, and basically any outfit. The front shelf can be tucked in.
It took no more than 2 hours to make.
2) The Spanish woman showed that all their women sew for the summer. A very simple but beautiful tunic blouse in 5 minutes.
Yes, it will take exactly five to ten minutes to make it.
All you need is a piece of light, airy chiffon and scissors.
The cut size is 1 meter with a fabric width of 1.30 or 1.50. I had a piece of 1.10 m, I didn’t cut off 10 centimeters.
- First you need to cut off the edge on both sides.
- Now fold the fabric twice in the middle, straighten all four folds well, align all the edges.
- Mark 10 centimeters in the middle and cut out the neck.
That's it, we can say that the blouse is ready!
All edges can be left as is, unfinished, the fabric does not fray. Or you can sew thin lace along the neckline and on all sides. If the fabric still gets shaggy, finish the edges with a Moscow seam; at the end of the article I’ll tell you how to do this.
The tunic is worn over the head in a cut out circle. The fabric falls onto the body in soft folds and already looks very nice.
Now take any belt and tie the tunic at the waist line, straighten the folds. But that's not all, the blouse can be twisted in different directions.
- Here is the long side in front, that is, along the shoulder line 1 meter (1.10 m).
- If you unfold and make the short side of the fabric in front, then the “sleeves” will turn out to be long, since here the side of the fabric is 1.50 m, and they can be tied at the wrists.
- Another option is to turn the tunic so that the corner of the fabric is in front.
In any form it is beautiful. You can hardly feel the blouse on your body, it is weightless.
Moscow seam:
It is usually done on thin transparent fabrics. First, you need to turn the edge to the wrong side by 1 centimeter and stitch a millimeter from the fold. Then trim off the excess close to the stitching.
- Now turn this line up again by 3 mm and sew from the wrong side along the first line or next to it.
As a result, you get one line on the front side, and two on the back side.
3) A simple but effective blouse that can be easily cut to your size without resorting to complex calculations and patterns.
You need to measure the length of the blouse and the width of the bottom.
My blouse length is 60 cm. The bottom of the blouse is 108 cm, I measured it with a measuring tape, just above the hips and threw it a little over the loose fit.
The fabric size for my blouse is 90x125 cm. If the bottom of your blouse is larger, then the top part needs to be increased. Where 90 cm is the fold of the fabric.
How to cut:
- Roll the fabric along the length of the blouse (60 cm). Mark 90 cm along the fold at the top. Sleeve width is 20 cm.
- Mark the width of the blouse at the bottom (54cm). Connect the points of the bottom of the sleeves and the bottom of the blouse along the side seam.
- Marked the neckline - depth 20 cm, width 14 cm. Triangular neckline goes front and back. But at the back you can do it as usual, without deepening it.
- The blouse is cut and at this stage you can try it on. To do this, you need to sweep the side seams.
- If everything is fine, you
