i'm so grateful to hasan for speaking up about turkey. life gets harder and harder each day here. people take their own lives cause they can't even feed their families anymore, then you look at how tourists come and have heavenly experiences in places in your own country when you basically try to survive. and it feels like there is no escape, we just have to live in this cycle of hell. we the young generation hope to put an end on erdoğan's regime but idk how much we can fight till the election. just hoping for things to get better soon for my people and country. thank you.

yes!! i think it's one of the reasons why Hasan is one of my faviourite streamers, he has that perspective of growing up in a fucked up authoritarian country and not supporting the regime. i'm not from turkey, but my country is in the same situation (perhaps even on a bigger scale, i am unfortunately from russia) and having a content creator who understands the issue and talks about it is great

I'm from the Balkans and I go to a international university that was created by Turkey and I have some turkish friends and they once told me that the reason they left their country to study in mine is so they can avoid the mandatory military service and to change their nationality so they don't get branded as a criminal.

and that's why we can never stop fighting back. it's been long enough now, i don't even live there but i worry about my family constantly, because i want them to be happy again. so many things are going wrong and worse but Turkish people aren't known for giving up so that's that! the fight ends when the regime does, so never sop fighting with everything you got

@xbabu142x 2 роки тому
Yeah Twitch and online politics debates are unrealistic as hell. There are so many 'dunk' videos on this guy, when the sheer fact is that Hasan in a suit and clean shaven would literally track better with a conservative voter base, then he could explain an alternative position. Twitch politics seems to think politics is pure policy; super crazy lol. Glad he is doing debating on his own thing though. Hoping he separates himself from the Twitch stuff and does serious votes with conservative opponents. I feel he breaks down policies well enough to be palatable too as a bonus which is nice.

Anthony deserves so much credit, he’s so perceptive and present in the moment. He knows what to do and when, while making sure never to over step or upset the interviewee. He’s not walking on eggshells, he IS being careful, but getting the information! Which can be so so difficult, and definitely shouldn’t be underestimated as a skill. I have a journalism degree, you’re taught to notice these things but not so much to do them, which shows just how talented he is. Some interviewers talk over their interviewees or become inappropriate, many lack the empathy and spacial awareness that this man has!! I gave up on journalism because I was convinced that it’s a dying industry, but this man carries hope for this profession and is the perfect example for great journalism!! If you’re interested in journalism as a profession, definitely take notes from him.

I love to see how Anthony is crushing it with this show. He's an OG on UKposts from the very very beginning and it's awesome to see how he's evolved both himself and his content alongside UKposts changing too. I think each Era of his content has been a perfect fit and hes owned all of them and killed it. This show seems like a perfect fit for where he's at in his life and a great way to stay on the platform and utilize his charisma. His interviews are always fun even when the subject might be on the more serious or intense side. He has great interaction and isn't afraid to do shows on subjects others wouldn't touch but people are interested in like the kidnapping or human trafficking ones. To make it this long on the platform is a true feat not many have done Anthony is one of the last. Smosh was one of the first big channels and part of my childhood. K I'm done fangirling when he'll never see this. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk

I think it could be cool to want to interview smaller CCs (under 1K or so) cause it could be interesting to listen to how they view Content creation as a whole and stuff like that , then maybe return to them if they end up growing to see if they think the same. cause While small CCs and big CCs may have equal or so work load, it’s interesting to see how smaller CCs tend to handle it/go about it in general , and i dont know i just think it could be different and interesting since a lot of people tend to over look smaller CCs like me, and others. but i also understand the point of wanting people with alot more experience, ESPICALLY socially to focus on cause it could come off more interesting. but i think this is something that could be really cool and different, and could also give a better look into the start of becoming a CC \o/

This video has given me a deeper reason to appreciate Hasan more. Especially the part when he admits his crippling self-doubt over whether his knowledge is right or wrong, which is something I also feel often. For me, it's less about whether I am misinforming people or not, but more about whether I am informed well enough for my decisions to be directed towards the right places, or my perspectives to not lead me to making mistakes I will regret. Sometimes when I think about my perspectives on particular subject matters, I find myself torn over whether how I think is better, or that of the majority of people is better - should I simply follow my own perspective, or are the suggestions of the majority of people better to follow? I often feel that trying to understand subject matters properly or making the right decisions never has a stable method of knowing who to follow, and so I get concerned that I might be making a mistake in my reasoning. I don't just want to be correct - I don't want to make mistakes that have ramifications I will regret, and have people hold those mistakes over my head as if I didn't learn and change from them. I feel that even if Hasan and I may have slightly different places for that concern to arise from, we both feel the same emotion when the moment matters significantly to us, and that is more than enough for me to appreciate and respect him.

Hasan was one of the major influences on my ideological growth, and honestly has impacted my career ambitions -- for so long it felt like I was somehow wrong for expressing hesitancy about the pure aesthetic focus of American liberalism but he and other content creators like FD Signifier and Philosophy Tube helped me discover that new layer of reality.

Listening to him talk about how he has to be so careful with his words online and the way he explains his views is exactly why I stopped caring about politics in high school. People that were supposedly my friends would try and twist my words whenever I gave my opinion to make it seem like I believed something they thought was terrible (the big one was Trump supporter). They would start political conversations with me, but they didn't actually care about my opinion, they just wanted me to agree with them, so as soon as I didn't they started yelling at me. I refuse to talk politics with anyone now and quietly research candidates by myself whenever there's an election.

Thank you for talking with Hassan! I’ve never really gotten a chance to really know what he’s about and everything so i would just assumed he was against my values. But now looking at his past and how he carries himself it gives me a better headspace to learn and make a better opinion.

@@Giruga905 Hasan talks about transphobia all the time. The thing is that most people have preconceived notions from the way they were raised/culture at the moment that makes it so they don't realize they're being incredibly transphobic. He got into drama recently, I'll spare the specifics but this channel had a shit ton of videos talking about trans women in sports (they were against it of course) and they were often transphobic, like they had 2016 era, culture war bs thumbnails and everything. They themselves don't think they're transphobic (somehow) and neither do their audience. Hasan went over some of their shit against his will (I'll spare the specifics) so now people are saying that Hasan calls anyone that disagrees with him transphobic. I'm trans myself and let me tell you, those guys were definably transphobic, and so is their audience
