I'm not into Vtubers at all, but I love the technology behind it. The fact that you can be a UKposts/Twitch streamer without actually having to show your face. And then with a voice changer, without having to show your voice either, so you're totally anonymous. And in the future, there'll probably be 100% realistic human models and voice changers, so everyone would think it was a real person, when you're actually completely anonymous.

I love fantasy type things and have always wanted to learn to draw characters and things but I have never really tried to learn but I think being a vtuber would be cool because technically you can be anyone or anything you want to be and you don’t even need to make the model yourself. You get to commission people to do that for you. I think it’s amazing.

@@resonantVoid entry lvl weebdom would be an interest in one or a few mainstream shows like pokemon or dragonballz. Degenerate lvl would be enjoying the absolute worst and best anime shows each new season, reading manga online and spending exorbanant time watching/engaging with the community. And then there is the Ultimate degenerate lvl where you can read a 6 digit code and be like "yeaah that one 's soo hot"

I think the screen has the actual thing we see, but in post prod they put over it the raw footage so there's no reflect light or stuff like that, it makes the quality better.

@@mnangel I can just barely remember something coming up about this a while back. A bunch of vtubers weren't able to get verified on UKposts and/or Twitter for some reason or other that's eluding me right now. I haven't thought about this at all since then so I really don't know what the details were offhand or whether anything ever even changed about what was preventing it at the time.

I’ll say this here now. In a few years, virtual reality will be so normal and instinctual, that we will laugh at the people in this time for finding virtual reality cringe or feel repulsiveness by it. Historically it’s always the same; the distain and hate for abolishing slavery is to us now something to mock at, so will this time(2020) be mocked at, because we didn’t embrace vtubers unlike the next generations who will instinctively.

I mean i do enjoy VR and Vtubers myself, but then again VR is a choice/preference, you can’t compare it to something like abolishing slavery because slavery is objectively wrong. But yes, i do think that VR is gonna be mainstream in a couple of years, but comparing it to abolishing slavery is a bit far fetched.

@@isaiahdanz3308 and no, people already somewhat praise VR since the early 2010s with the likes of Hatsune Miku. People don’t enjoy Vtubers because it’s a new concept, i do agree that vtubers and vr will become mainstream, but not because of “instinct” like you said. But rather the entertaining factor of itself, like Nyanners said people look into vtubers to escape from current situations and just have fun, it’s the same reason why people watch PewDiePie, KSI, etc., and all of them we’re previously seen as only UKpostsrs and nothing else, but over the years they became normal and mainstream. Logically VTubers would become mainstream as well sooner or later, but saying that it’s instinctive and similar to how back in the days abolishing slavery is frowned upon is just stupid.

idk if sequel or part 2 interviews were done before in this channel but I'd love to see one for this, whether it's with the same ones or different vtubers. although I did hear about vtubers before, I only joined the vtuber fandom scene this year and I learned/heard about other info. examples include me not knowing that indie vs corpo vtubers are a thing as I thought most or all were indie, what agencies look for specifically, how expensive models are, advice for aspiring vtubers, how much is actually earned indie vs corpo, other behind the scenes stuff with agencies of the corpo side, how being a vtuber has helped them be more outgoing and confident as time passed (Akuma Nihmune's journey and Nyanners doing an irl stream recently are examples), and more.

I think one of the advantages of being a vtuber is the puppetry behind it as well. With a live person you're kinda stuck just looking at them sitting in their room. The avatars allow for a lot more creativity and meme potential. Sakura Miko is a great example of this, where in certain games she'll take her avatar and put it in the seat of a vehicle she's driving. When the person behind the avatar is creative, it's more than just replacing your face with a character.

Vulpixie is my favorite Vtuber. Her Splatoon 3 content is great. My overall exposure to Vtubers is quite small, but it's starting to expand at a large rate. Believe me, I get anxiety and depression as well, but I'm becoming to understand things a bit more.

I don’t watch vtubers except for ironmouse really. She’s just very relatable as I myself deal with an autoimmune disease where I found a lot of my youth bedridden. I’m 21 now and I just now am trying to get those years back by going outside and playing the sports I’ve always wanted to play and the lifting the weights I’ve always wanted to lift. You know my dreams of being an athlete when I was younger. It’s hard sometimes still but I keep pushing on. A lot of people see me today and see me as healthy. The people I lift weights with and play basketball with. I may look like that on the outside but people don’t really have any idea how low I’ve started from physically and how much harder it is for me to just function and keep up with my friends as I hang out with them. Hence why I enjoy watching ironmouse because she’s very relatable. She found something that helps her keep pushing on despite the obstacles that life has put before her. So good on her and best of luck to everyone else who is dealing with something similar.

Ironmouse saying "what a world we live in" at 8:48 broke me. I realized that I was watching a man talk to a virtual character through a screen propped up on a chair and that he was also listing to her directly using a device in his ear that connects without touch. To top it off, I was watching all of this unfold through a machine that could access a network that I can't even begin to comprehend. Overall, 10/10 would hurt my brain thinking about reality again.
