I mean, considering these videos get tons of support (making his channel grow), don't think he's going to stop anytime soon though I don't want to say that too early now. Also, if he is getting bored of this series then I rather see him make videos that he does enjoy making instead of basically forcing himself to these videos.

To change the concrete powder to normal concrete you can place all the powder then place a bucket of water over it all. It is a much more efficient way of getting more concrete. The piston issue is from a redstone mechanic called "quasi-connectivity". It is really complicated but it's just a thing. Useful and ennoying at the same time.
