A thing about traveling with your pets is that you have to go on land every so often so that they follow you, it's not a glitch or anything :) if you go near to where you last travled with them, they will come to you, but you have to stop on a solid block every so often (unless you have leads)

the reason for that is because minecraft doesn't want to waste space or ram to load every single chunk so it unload the furthest and the pets with it

6:40 when the animals didn’t follow you it’s because there was no land. They can only teleport a certain amount of blocks, for example if I flew far away and didn’t take a few pit stops on land, I would end up too far away and they can’t teleport to you! This happened before the 1.17 so it’s not a glitch :)

They only won't teleport once you're back on land if they unloaded (based on render distance, simulation distance also affects if they will) I do wish they would make it so specifically pets that aren't sitting stay loaded so they can teleport, I've lost many pets because of it...

A little tip for finding ancient debris a lot quicker is to use beds, add a few blocks in front of you, and tap the bed. The area will blow up leaving the ancient debris behind. Ancient debris doesnt blow up either so don’t worry about that. It’s so much easier!!

Here is a tip for taming cats in Minecraft: Crouch and wait for the cat to approach you then start feeding it, the reason the cats were running away is because you kept chasing it. Trust me I grew up playing Minecraft and teaming cats so this is the correct way to tame the cats

How to tame cats in Minecraft: 1. Stop moving! 2. Hold either a cod or salmon in hand 3. Look/aim crosshair at the ground 4. Wait till cat comes to you 5. Once the cat comes to you, either left-click or tap (if you’re on a mobile device) however many pieces of fish till you get little heart signifying that you’ve tamed the cat. 6. Tip: Always lock some of the villagers in their houses, when you summon raid. That way you won't lose, because even if Illagers kill some of the villagers, the ones who locked in houses will stay alive. Also it's funny how he got most of achievements in 100 days in HARDCORE, and when I play hardcore I just die due some random creeper, that spawned under a tree during day, which is strange.

I think skull drip rates went way down if it took you 2 hours. I was able to spawn and beat and beat three withers in almost 2 hours with a looting 3 in an smp of 1.16 so 1.17 might be down

I just played on the 1.17 today in my survival world and I am stunned by the caves! They are so big and I found stack and a half of iron and gold, (and copper) I also found some diamonds and some more cool stuff that I never found without cheating! It's very cool in my opinion and I like the new stuff they added, I also like that the ores can be "in" like the black cobblestone and it makes it look very cool and interesting. I am slowly 'making my way' to the texture of the ores since I don't like em that much but other than that I love it, Mojang didn't disappoint me once again :D

6:40, its not a glitch but a result of how the pets teleport, basically for a pet to teleport it needs to be in a loaded chunk, since you travelled quite far the chunks in where they were got unloaded (effectively putting them into a stasis until you load the chunks again) because of this they could not teleport. I hope in a future update mojang implement a fix for this!

Also, I find that the more you watch MCYT, no matter what subdivision of it you watch whether it be speed runs or lets plays or stuff like this, I think it's predictable when everyone says they're about to do the dragon. As soon as you hear something about ender pearls, you don't even need to hear the word "dragon" or "end". You just.. kinda instinctively know? :P Nice gut feelin to have, but on occasion, it is nice to not have someone be predictable and stuff xD

To tame a cat, you gotta stay idle while holding the fish. If you move it runs away. Once the cat is staring at you, you can move only where you're looking (like dont move the player) and then you can feed the lil kitty cat

The reason that the pets didn't teleport was because they were in unloaded chunks. You have to stop on land every once in while so that they can keep teleporting closer and closer so that they'll be in loaded chunks while you're at home

The thing with losing your pets... always have them on a lead or in your boat when traveling across large bodies of water..... They for some reason can't teleport in water and will stop following you once you get a certain distance from them... That feature has been in the game for years... So idk why they haven't changed it yet cause it really is annoying... I remember first discovering it years ago... I was traveling across the ocean with my dog and once I hit land, I realized my dog wasn't following me... I thought it had died (this was before pet death messages were a thing). But then later I found it just vibing in the ocean.
