As someone who has multiple times, about 6 or 7 times now done this kind of challenge, but in LAN parties I can safely say it is a terrible and bad idea. Definetly one of the worst things is the hallucinations and the inability to talk. This actually happens and it gets really weird. I have never expereinced the mood swings, maybe because I did it to a LAN party, but staying up for 50+ hours in insane, and should not be done unless you know what you are doing, since it is for sure dangerous. Love this. My longest is around 2 days. In the past month, my mum has has been up for over 100 hrs straight twice this month 😢

I have stay up for hours like this before. It’s crazy because after staying up so long you do start to have hallucinations, paranoid, and more aware of your surroundings. Also it’s exhausting. It makes you moody and irritable. I even have had mental breakdowns from it. Cry for no reason because I was so tired.

I never recommend not sleeping but I wish someone else besides me eventually mixes fasting with no sleep just to see if it unlocks all of your old memories as well as reverse short term memory loss. Back in 2018, i found another benefit on my own without any clue about it anywhere and that is that dry fasting heals your throat to the point I've gone from coughing like an old man from smoking since 2001 to having the cough of a newborn. I couldn't believe it
