U can tell when ppl have never been through anything traumatizing. Sometimes u don’t fully remember all the details, u just remember the emotions u felt. Yes CERTAIN aspects will be burned into your memory but u won’t remember every detail. For example, during robberies there have been times multiple victims have given separate accounts of the same situation even though all were there. Major details lined up but specifics were different like the height of the perpetrator or which hand they held the weapon in. I have been robbed before and as time goes on details of the incident have started to fade but I’ll never forget how I felt in that moment.
