There is a theory that the current map is set before the og map in the timeline and that the black hole was actually a time portal created to send us from the og map back to the current map to give us a second chance. Notice how on the og map it was very hight up with cliffs virtually around the whole island and the current map is very low down with practically no cliffs? Well if when the io take down the mothership it crashes on to the island the island would most likely grow around it causing the cliffs to appear. And in the mothership mini game there are a bunch of og things floating around, such as Lucky Landing. If these places were destroyed permanently then how would the mothership have gotten hold of them? If the mothership were to brake open upon impact with the island then there is a good chance that all this og stuff (such as Lucky Landing) would spill out and start terraforming the island causing the og island to grow before our very eyes. Also, can you prove that the giant metal object underneath the island that was housing the zero point is not the mothership?

Plus, if the mother was holding the zero point then how come the shop wasn't sticking out the sides of the island? We clearly saw the ship was bigger than the island. Where's the zero point? Why did they try to hide it? Also when you think the old map might come, just think. Not exactly.

I started mid-season 1 and I loved it until around season 6, around season 5 and 6 I became very agitated with sweats and my opinions of the game would fluctuate... season 7, I quit for atleast half of it coz of the cringe, season 8 - some what enjoyed it, season 9 - never played it - the game was ruined, season 10 was one hell of a throwback and I enjoyed it alot and then season 1 of chapter 2 was mostly fun and kinda washed out to the point that I quit and never came back to the game after that.
