It reminds me of a joke Scar made way back in early season 6. He and JoeHills (I think) were getting ready to go somewhere and Scar says something like "Alright let's get rolling.... and I'm an expert at rolling" Still brings a smile to my face thinking about it. Never change Scar

The way he won is actually very simple, he did something no one else was doing. While others were building their decks, Scar did the unthinkable and lead off with getting multiple victory tomes right out of the gate. This weakens him a bit in the long run since he has fewer cards, but it more or less ensured his victory for the first week. That said, an element of luck was also involved since he got artifacts valuable enough to get victory tomes in the first place. Theoretically the most optimal playstyle for winning decked out would be the ludicrous idea of playing the hardest difficulty without investing in your deck at all outside of cards that spawn frost embers. This is the most dangerous style possible, but it offers the greatest possible reward as all your embers would go towards getting more embers or victory tomes. That said, no one would ever play the game like this, clank and hazard would be out of control and you'd need near perfect luck and skill just to survive the onslaught.

@@Xigzagamer Tango's intention was "Max hazard is fatal". If the vexes came out players should've died like 90% of the time. But Etho and Hypno are surviving max hazard making that strategy somewhat viable.

I liked how Tango had that smugness of, Mrs T's got my back, she kind of sounded like she was going to back Tango, until she betrayed him. When I watching this live, I knew if she came back she was going to give Scar a shard, though I was fooled for a moment, thinking she'd actually back up Tango for once. All in all, very funny.

It blows my mind how much of an entertainer Scar really is. Don't get me wrong all the Hermits are amazing but as far as Scar goes in any series the dude is massively on point with all sorts of schtick, plotlines, and paired with his voice it's just some of the most entertaining wholesome content available.

really depends on what kind of content you find entertaining, for example gem does these sitback relax and build video's, cleo does longer video's with intense music, pearl silly funny video's etc, really depends on what you like.

Our derpy Scar is surprisingly good at Decked Out 2. He got back with an artifact on his 2nd run, and on his first level 2 run, he was able to turn in his artifact. He was in the top 3 frost ember earners, and handed in the most tomes. He could end up in the top 8 or maybe top 5 at the end of the game.

He is really efficient and fast. He gets in, gets the artifact, looks around for treasure and gets out. Perhaps not as high on the exploration or knows all the mechanics but he can use other hermits videos to learn about the dungeon.

Scar's spontaneous, genuine, child-like delight of "Dude! The doors open!" was the perfect start to the DO2 launch. Tango has lovingly crafted an experience and Scar wholeheartedly showed up for it. All of us on Tango's stream breathed a collective sigh of relief at that moment and thought, "Yeah, Decked Out 2 is going to get the appreciation it deserves and bring the joy it was designed to share." Also, intro....uh-may-zing.

The correct block is the one on which the compass flips direction while walking over it. Many of the hermits just throw the compass in the direction it's pointing. I guess the stress just makes it difficult to do right.

Never would anyone have predicted that Scar would win, let alone one game of Decked Out, but won against the other hermits in the FIRST WEEK when every other hermit would give sacrifices to the Decked Out gods to play more

I kinda expected him to win week 1, but that's because he went for the victory tomes very early. Like day 1, while Tango was streaming, early. Everyone else who got out were trying to improve their decks, and Scar's just like "I want to win"

Hypno earned the most, but Tango rewarded phase 2 shards based off how many embers each player earned in phase 1. Those ranged from 8-14 depending on the hermit. Since Scar only earned 9 shards he must have done better on average!@@mollusc3125

This video is solid gold! Run 7 was incredible, dodging ravagers, using the ravager attack to escape the river of souls, then finally dying to a magma block in the water trap, just epic tragedy. Also, calling "the manager" was hilarious!

Hey scar, Kind of off topic to todays video. I went to disneyland paris today for the first time in 16 years. As I was walking trough main street whilst leaving I was hit with this feeling that I recognized the place from somewhere. Then it hit me that I "recognized" it from your videos. Honestly Scar's strat of buffing up with two cards and a tome before moving up levels is really smart. It reduces the likelihood of losing on a higher level just because of something like running out of time!

Scar picked up on the nuances of Decked Out faster than any other Hermit i've seen. He is being uncharacteristically observant and its so fun watching him dodge and weave around ravagers. Thank you Scar!

Thank you for the compilation video of all your runs Scar. Just know I'll watch these in addition to any runs you put in episodes just because I can not get enough Decked Out 2 content. The work Tango has put in to this game really paid off big. I love seeing all the hermits enjoying it
