Thanks for sharing your feedback. Yes suspension will still feel firmer than let's say X3 30i but at least it will feel much smoother. It's amazing to see how so many people who buy X3 M40i swap out Run-Flat tires, yet BMW would still continue putting Run-Flats on these cars. Driving experience is so much better with regular tires.

Thanks for the feedback. I recently drove X3 30i at BMW Ultimate Driving Event and run-flat tires felt quite normal there, so suspension makes a huge difference. We kind of like our Harman Kardon stereo system but yes it is not the best, B&O would be ideal, but I think people who are shopping for X3 would not pay extra for it. Engine is the best thing in X3 M40i - it makes this car so unique and really fun to drive, hearing this light growl even at lower speeds makes it feel special. I think X3 M40i is quite a special car, I hope they continue refining it. They have enough sport in it, just need to add some more comfort and this will be a win/win scenario.

@@100miledrive yeah, I get a better deal when I build from the factory instead of the lot. It only took my x3 2.5 months to arrive at the dealership. Yeah, you can opt for leather seats instead of the SensaTec. I am really to see what the 2025 will be like. I actually want a M3 now.

Thanks for advise. I use eco pro when I have passengers or if I drive in complete traffic, it’s quite smooth. But if I get curvy or basically open roads I like Sport Individual with louder engine but comfier suspension, steering and transmission.

This is exactly what’s going to happen, not even a question. I already read many rumors that say it will get new iDrive system. They will certainly make a better more refined crossover, but with this new curved screen :(

Hmm.. you are not the first one asking me this question. I do not hear any whistling sounds in my car, pretty much at any speeds. I wonder if this an issue with your car specifically. I would suggest finding another car and compare, or also at the dealership you can ask them to drive your car with you and a foreman who will tell you if that is normal or not. I would certainly report anything abnormal in my videos, but I don't hear anything.

Thanks for your comment. Mazda is a great car in non luxury car segment which has sporty driving dynamics. I guess for Inline 6 you refer to new CX90? While their inline 6 also sounds great and fairly efficient but BMW's B58 engine is called: "Legendary" for it's efficiency to power ratio.

@@RealKevGotEm ​​⁠It’s fairly reliable, many BMW owners report B58 engine being super reliable. Let’s not forget it has been fine-tuned by Toyota and is used in Supras. Also Mazda is not a super reliable brand like Toyota or Honda. Mazdas have some pretty reliable cars like Mazda 3 and MX5 but some like CX7 completely flopped. And if you are looking for reliability over performance then should probably consider Lexus/Toyota or Honda/Acura.

@@RealKevGotEm My suggestion if you are mostly concerned about reliability and longevity versus performance and driving experience then I would recommend to look into Lexus/Acura or basically Honda/Toyota direction. But if you really want BMW that you are planning to keep for 10+ years then I would do research on the car itself first and what problems folks typically get and then find local shops that could help you repair it for a fraction of the cost versus dealers or even bigger chains like Pep Boys, Firestone etc... I certainly have more confidence in BMW versus Audi or Mercedes, but I would not depend on the same way I would depend on Lexus or Acura. European cars also don't like to be driven a lot. If you drive like 7-8K miles a year then they will do fine, however more than 10K miles per year they will start to wear out faster.
