Hell this has speakers and the iPods didn't even have that. ​@@alvinamana1459They're talking about not wanting earbuds that go INTO your ear canal which is what the AirPods 2nd gen provide. Most earbuds have tips for a closed-ear fit but there are plenty of people who want an open ear design like the 1st gen AirPods for example.

I don't think $350 is expensive at all. Most earbuds are already $250. WITHOUT a smartphone/case. You're basically paying $100 for a mini smartphone. More than worth it.

It has cellular support. You can make calls and use these without a phone and it has apps support. Listening to music is just one feature but these can in theory replace your phone. At least I have not seen something like this before.
