"Print is dead" And yet in 2021 digital content still hasn't identified a coherent business model. Sure some people have made solid money with ad revenues and others make a good living with native ads, promotions etc, but print is still well and truly alive. In fact the only business model which really works across the board with digital media is subscribing to a PDF publication or simply buying it there and then; essentially the print model in PDF form. The drudge report was first to market, and the bare bones HTML webpage is a testament to that, but digital media is still not on top.

The FIRST website of its kind, that changed how we would come to consume news and information forever going forward. The day he published the Starr report, he crashed the "world wide web". Someone said this episode focused too much on the news reporters, however without understanding that part of what happened and how it brought the country to Clinton's Impeachment (the title of the show, after all), one walks away without understanding what happened. Without Whitewater, without Paula Jones, and without the Impeachment trial (or Ken Starr and his circus), the Monica story would have never happened!

I strongly disagree based on the full episodes I’ve seen so far. She definitely reveals her own flaws (repeatedly getting involved with spoken for men) and is making this series about so much more than her own part of the events prior to the Impeachment including the digital transformation of journalism that was taking place at the time. The scene with Isakov & Drudge is super interesting. I’m highly impressed with it so far including picking someone who bears her likeness (at the time) to play her as opposed to someone wayyy slimmer & polished beyond how folks are in their early 20s, etc.

Monica was only a producer on the show and had no veto power. She in fact, fought to keep the infamous thong incident in so people would not think she was trying to somehow influence the narrative (note spelling btw) in her favor.
