Greetings to everyone on my channel! I am Alfira Merinova.
A versatile garter stitch, often used in hats, scarves, and in the hem, neck, and cuffs of knitwear, it can sometimes be difficult to knit in a circular fashion. The essence of knitting garter stitch in a circle is in the alternation of front rows and purl rows. The junction of the original row and the front row forms steps, placing the purl loops in a zigzag. This disturbs the harmony of the knitted fabric.
Popular ways to level the transition from the back row to the front row did not look neat enough in my products. Therefore, I developed my own technique for knitting the transition from the purl to the front row. In general terms, the transition is used exclusively in rows ending with purl loops and subsequently beginning with knit loops. Whereas the rows ending with front loops are simply knitted according to the pattern with switching to purl loops in the new row.
Since this is an author's method, when using it in your master classes and descriptions, please indicate the link to this video and to my channel. Use, try and share your impressions.
I'm glad you dropped in ;)
