Inclusive Playground - Wheelchair swing

Children using a wheelchair can enjoy swinging without the hassle of leaving their wheelchair. Imported from Australia, this equipment can take a weight of up to 250kg and contains all the necessary safety features for a fun and safe experience. The equipment comes with a seat for any child to play this unique play equipment.

Yeah, I know! It would’ve been great years ago, when my siblings would play on the playground and I’d have nothing to do. No child should ever have to dread going to a playground because they can’t have fun like everyone else.

There's a swing like this at one of the parks in my city, all my years of my life I've never seen it used before, always wanted to see a kid in a wheel chair use it but no one seems to have a wheel chair I guess.

What's a lot more likely is that the city might be inaccessible enough that getting to the park is difficult, and/or getting access to a wheelchair when needed is too difficult so they can't leave the house.

I have a wheelchair and everytime I went to the park there was nothing there 😕 but I went 2 days ago and just round the corner there was a whole park for people with wheelchairs and there was 2 other people there ☺☺☺ I was so so so so happy.

Yeah u pull up the ramp to make it easier for wheeling, and remember to put the brake on the wheelchair bc it can roll away I learned that the hard way when I went on the disability swing I rolled straight off bc I hadn't strapped my chair in

Bro Vision I guess it's just less hassle? Also if the child is paralysed from the waist down then it would be hard for them to stay on the swing as there's no straps etc

I think it's in case the chains snap or the seatbelt loosen or the wheelchair break unlock so the child doesn't get injured

The ramp needs rotate about it's center, similar to a balanced teter toter, so that it isn't so heavy to pick it up.

Sara Swinerton What I mean is that it doesn’t make sense to wish to have a wheelchair to use that swing because it’s more fun to use a regular swing, and besides, you can always just get a wheelchair to use that one, or even just use a normal chair because it doesn’t actually move inside the swing anyways, plus, you can just go in the swing without anything.

I am 9 and broke both my legs due to a drunk driver and am bound to a wheelchair for5 year. I showed my parents this and they found 1 in a nearby town. I have been on it and it is awesome
